Does the caregiver and patient receive a notice in the mail from the state? What if a caregiver did not know and then was raided shortly after the paperwork of change went into the system, their #s would be over perhaps? How does a caregiver drop a patient without the patient? I would think signing 2 caregiver forms at the start of the relationship.

I have identified a few of the legal issues we face and hope we can get a discussion going on them.

1. Legality of CG to CG transfers of clones and medicine.

2. People busted during the period between mailing the application and recieving the card from the State.

Of course, folks on this site are angry!

Anyone can read Anger posted all over this site … Anger about CG/QP relationships; Anger about fair compensation for meds; Anger about Government taking away rights afforded under the new MM law; Anger at the MMMA board and the MMMA site in general …

I hope this blog will help anyone who has any doubt about individual munincipalities possible interpretation of the MMM Law.
As of this morning, I haven't spoken with an attorney yet. For this reason I don't want to be specific about alot of things, but hopefully more to come soon.

Hi - I am looking for advice for a first time caregiver and grower. I know I need to get a license from the state. My sister just told me someone she knows was arrested for possession with the intent to distribute in Traverse City. Now I am concerned I need more than a license from the state.

I am very sorry to announce that support for our group was withdrawn by the folks up at the Upper Peninsula Outdoor Club late today, making it impossible for us to find another location to hold tomorrow's meeting. The BACC went to the club on Wednesday nite to vacuum the room we were using and to set up for the meeting.

How many patients can the MMMP expect to have? Do the math yourself, it looks like we might have higher number of disabled and elderly patients compared to the USA.
