I called the Grand Rapids chamber of commerce this morning. Asked about the rumors I heard that GR was adopting an ordinance that make small business owners give up their 4 th amendment rights, i.e. subject to warrant-less search at any time without warning. The lady seemed genuinely surprised and routed me to someone else (who didn't answer or return my call yet).

The Midtown Detroit Cannabis Compassion Club will be holding a caregivers meeting. Its time caregivers come together to discuss issues that apply to them. Hope to see ya there, if you have any questions

I very much appreciate your views. They seem to be in line with mine. The 3MA does seem to have strayed from where I want to see this program go as it moves forward. To even humor the idea of distribution through pharmicies is ridiculous in my opinion. And very dangerous to this community.

Just wondering if the MMMA are still planning on giving us some educational video? To present to the members at the local compassion club meetings? We were told at the Sept. meeting in Lansing that the video's were being re-done. That was 4-5 months ago. Have not heard anything yet.

can the police charge you with a crime if u get caught in drug sting trying to purchase meds under the amount you are allowed to have.the police said my medical card was no good and took me too jail and released me on further investigation today they also kept my medical card. i thought they were suppose to honor my medical card

I can utilyze much of the things they allready own ( I LOVE DIY) , but lighting can not be skimped on. Most of the Money they can come up with, if any, will be directed for lighting. Where you been my friend? Hope all is well and you are on a nice long vacation.

So I live In Mt. Pleasant MI and this weekend is the annual Summer Fest. So over the last few days I have been doing what I could to set up a booth and hand out information on the Mt. Pleasant Compassion Club as well as MMMA.

Judging from the situations that I have just heard, I think that it is important to report good as well as bad caregivers and patients. There should be a bad list and good list for people to look at before committing.

We need to use the one thing that the government can't take from us, our voice.

Advertise what this law will do to what is already in place. Tell that if this is passed, it will eliminate the program.

Radio advetisement is an excellent tool and it is not expensive. I'm sure if it went that far all of us would have no problem with pooling the necessary funds.

I recently contacted the DOCH on the issue of having no photo on our permits,as to why,and if they will re- issue cards again, at the cost of the state and DOCH .Their reply: May 1,2009

photos on the card.This technical problem is being addressed and will be

I have been a caregiver for sick patients in california. However i now live about 8 miles from the michigan border and was wondering if i could some how get involved in assisting people with their marijuana usage professionaly. I read that a caregiver can assist up to 5 patients. Im wondering if i would need to register in some way in order to do this.
