Interpreting The Latest Warnings About Pot and Schizophrenia

Once again members of the mainstream media are running wild with the notion that marijuana use causes schizophrenia and psychosis.

Community standards regarding medical marijuana are all over the
board right now in Michigan. Some police and PA's (like neighboring Kalkaska
County) still believe patients need certification cards prior
to obtaining plants or medicine. Not in Grand Traverse County---we wrote our local PA for clarification.

The Grand Traverse County Prosecuting Attorney, Allen Schneider,
didn't answer any questions about 'implementation' of the MMMAct but
he will recognize MDCH paperwork in lieu of certification cards, and
he will ensure that local police do too.

On Tuesday, February 23, the Cheboygan City Council by a 5-2 vote passed Michigan's first ordinance authorizing medical marijuana dispensaries, and zoned space for them in the business district.

Some folks who read this have also received an e-mail from me detailing my e-mail exchange(s) with the Program Coordinator with MDCH/MMP

Today is 95 days and still counting...

My check was cashed November 2, 2009. I sent in an application/change form simply to show me as my own caregiver.

For being the professional and compassionate clinic that they are. I have a friend who is disabled and has had for quiet some time a condition that makes him eligible for a medical Registry ID card. Unfortunately he was arrested before he got a card. He lives in the Western U.P. 120 miles from the nearest traveling clinic. He asked for the quickest appointment as he had an upcoming court date.

I am not sure the reason. My Lawyer did not contact me. Maybe he is unaware. It might be that he does not care what happens to me. Anytime inside the courtroom buildings, I was a tad belligerent, rude, and standoffish, to certain people. he got some of the blow back.

im reaching out to you old school guys on this one,......has anybody ever heard of this strain ?? supposedly it came from vietnam 40+ years ago. the original owner brought seed back and it has been growing/cloned since. the strain i have been told has been passed down through his family, as said person is not with us.

I apologize to the people at our Troy meeting last night that complained our meeting wasn't on the main calendar here. This seems to be an ongoing issue with MMMA and not our club. Steve even linked up the google calendar like they asked but its still not working properly.

was some info he had received from Hortilux was that the MH and HPS bulbs being used in the new Digital Ballasts were going to be used up in half their expected time with the very great possibility of them bursting and ruining the crop they are over top of. He said he didn't believe it until he contacted Hortilux and some of the other light manufacturers and was told it was true.

I had this plant in a cold semi dark place for about a week. It was only getting light through a window (so no not 18 hours)
Do you folks think it's showing male by the photo ? The plant is The Black if that makes a difference.
I have it back under regular light now, I don't want to keep it near any flowers, or keep it if it's male.

I saw a card that was issued the prior week that was just over 7000, The most recent card # posted on this site was 7560. We could surmise that the dept is issuing approx 250 per week? With the total number of cards over 7500. I bet the state will be @ 10000-11000 by year end. and still have stacks on the desk yet to process.

how do we talk about acquiring seeds and clones without breaking the law or rules of this site? it's obvious that if we don't have a caregiver and need to grow our own plants we need to get the plants from somewhere, like seeds or clones. the Michigan law recognizes that we can grow our own plants but doesn't address the fact that importing seeds is illegal.

Standish Michigan has a brand new, big prison that is empty and they want to bring in terrorists from Gitmo and prisoners from other states to keep this prison open. To me this is horrible. Putting terrorists in the middle of Michigan, the State with the largest fresh water lakes in the U.S., is a terrible idea. What would stop the terrorists from bombing the prison?

I've waited for the financial resources to get my card...now i need a caregiver in SW Michigan to sign my paperwork...ASAP

Roger, the Director of the J3C thought, we need a location for a clinic, we are a non-profit, we should be able to use available public facilities, he is resident of Leoni Township, so he went in to ask about it, the clinic will be at the Leoni Township Hall, Thursday September 17th from 9:00 am to 4:00.

Lets see…..where do I start?

Based on statements from SOME patients on this website the following standards should be followed by caregivers.

* 4 year college degree
* Not make a profit (or a very little one) on their service
* Invested thousands of dollars to grow medical grade cannibis

My motivation
1. The wish to provide High quality meds to those in need at reasonable rates of compensation
2. I really miss growing and wish to get back into it (legally)
3. Yes I do wish to supplement my income (not get rich)

what is the best way to obtain seeds and cuttings for growing medical marijuana?

Hi, i am in dire need of answers. My doctor is willing to fill out the applications, but, he keeps calling community health about everything and they won't tell him anything yet! Which is delaying my forms that i found here from being signed, sealed and delivered! What can i tell him that would get him to speed things up?

My wife and I park the Volt in the "Senior Members Reserve Lot" we always park in. We grab the two grandkids (who are obviously excited to be here) out of the backseat and head inside. As we head into the coat room, and hang up our jackets, Jake and Bonnie are yelling for french-fries (they are always hungry :) ) "OK OK" I tell them as we head into the main hall, we swing right and head into the grill area, and sit down in a booth. "You guys want the usuals?" The cherub faced girl asks us as she sets down our diet cokes. "French-Fries!!" Bonnie and Jake yell in unison. "And cheeseburgers!" my beautiful wife adds in.

Why? Hasn't the State website been updated by the Governing body. Their website is asleep..... Another question of concern is reciprocity, to accept any qualified Patients card from any other state. These cards should be covering all patients in any states where legislation has passed a Marijuana Initiative.
