porting partners at the Tri-City Record report that the Hartford city council was not too impressed with a presentation by a Holland company wanting to build a medical marijuana center in their town. West Michigan Medical Services and Supplies say they will file an application to open such a facility in Hartford. The company's Ken Baker delivered a presentation to the City Commission at their June 21st meeting. He told commissioners the place would be more than a medical marijuana distribution center because it would provide medical classes, care giver centers and more. The place would also include facilities for the families of patients including a t-shirt shop, arcade, and a renovated movie theater. Hartford recently passed a "bare bones" ordinance on medical marijuana use stating that only specific professionals, like doctors and dentists, can be the only ones to distribute medical marijuana. Hartford Mayor Ted Johnson says he and other commissioners do not want such a facility.

I'm moving it only because it belongs in Michigan News, not patient issues. It is a good find but I wonder if anyone has a link to the Hartford regulation?

I am hoping that the attorneys will just do a class action against the ordinances. They are all criminal, because they ignore state law and the will of the people.

 

Sometimes it's not even their fault, tonight we watched holland's attorney bumble thru what he wrote and he didn't bumble well. My point with this post was that it is the same crew that just completely EFF'd holland, and then they just went to a new city to pitch some new scheme.
