I see the under branches are all nicely pruned here. I have a shitt ton of branches and lil sprouties at the base of the plants i have. is this best pruned off once you move to flower, and have taken all the cuttings you plan to take?

Yeah, all that little stuff won't amount to much and might detract from the tops.

I have 6 FL seedlings going (Thanks Indica Jones ) and cant wait. I started them after seeing your pics Mezz and they're all short,stocky looking hash plants. Will be posting pics soon and giving away free clones cause that's what Swampy would of wanted.

2 words to describe the 3 different FL ladies I am blessed with----- Gigantic monsters--

Out of the 6 seeds i started (thanks Indica),half ended up female.Two of them are classic

Afghan/Hashplant with gigantic stalks to hold up the massive fan leaves,and the 3rd is not

quite as tall with thinner leaves.

My buddy,whom I split the pack of seeds with does in fact have a male and is building a separate flower room just to carry out the nuptials between the 2 FLs

Once i establish clones from each mom i will bring some into the club (GC3)to Give away.I gave a couple away last Sat. @ the club.I hope Swampy's up there smiling away

I do not wish to confuse the situation any further... But I can set part of the record straight. The real G13 was a clone only plant. It was crossed with different strains to produce seeds. Tom (swampy) told me in an email that the G13 in this (the original free Leonard) strain was Mr. Nice which is G13 crossed with Hash plant pollen. They crossed it with swampy's Hawaiian Butterscotch to improve the flavor. There was also some confusion about the G13 strain because swampy posted on another forum that it was the airborne(?) strain. I believe it to be the first. Because it certainly looks like hashplant.

 

Now that I have totally confused that issue... LOL The second strain had something to do with Romulan crossed with ?. Anybody else have info on this? I only received the original Free Leonard.

I understand that FL2 was FL1 crossed with Romulan.

 

Swampy gave me a clone of FL1. Still have the strain.

I have an FL2 pheno that I've been growing since Feb. '09. Friends who've tried it call it "Speechless" I read somewhere that the FL2s were the result of back crossing the FL1 to the Butterscotch in an attempt to smooth the taste out a bit. I don't care how Swampy did it...try it, it'll leave you speechless too.

Right, missed that. That is what I am going with because one look at this plant says Hash Plant.

Hash Plant is the first thing that comes to my mind every time i see it. I will post pics of all 3 soon.

The big plants are getting close to 4' tall and while i have never grown any G13,I have grown Monster afghan,

and this reminds me a lot of it.

I LOVE this strain. It will always have a place in my garden. below you can see some cool pics of my SFL mom's leaves. i mixed up my bulbs in my T5 lamp. I have 4 6500k bulbs and 2 4100K bulbs in there. Ever since i switched them, the Free Leonard has just gotten more beautiful!

I have been told by more then one person that the FL with Romulan is a 12 week strain.I wasnt real crazy about a 3 month flower time,but my pack of seeds is G13 x Hashplant x Butterscotch Hawaiian,which is the 8 week variety-I hope lol.

Still on the hunt for FL. I've spoken with a couple different people about possibly getting clones but nothing ever came of it.

 

I would love to try out both phenos side by side. Can anyone please help me out? I will drive where ever
