David Leyton Needs Signs Now! Please all Compassion Clubs, Let's get the word out and take some donations to get the job done. This is a huge priority. Please let me know if you can help!

I'm in Clinton Twp and would proudly put up signage in my yard for our candidates. Let me know where I can have my daughter pick them up.

Our Problem is that David Leyton Doesn't have any signs or the money to have them made. Even If we could make some professional looking signs that would help. I'm open to any ideas you guys can come up with. Thanks, Joe

This should've been done months ago! It's so sad that those with money can buy an election, while those who may truly speak for The People, have to rely only on their intentions and reputation. I don't see how anyone can run a campaign without having made provisions for signs and other publicity items.

Hi SB, Shutte is a rich guy, who can finance his own campaign. David has had to try to match his attack ads. We're in a depression in Michigan, so it's not surprising that our guy is getting crushed by Shutte's Billfold. I can tell you from experience, big money can roll over under financed candidates. That is the way of the world.

I'm getting the info from folks who are working with the campaign. I pass on things as soon as I find them out. I imagine things are pretty chaotic in the Leyton camp as he is under attack. We just got to help him plug the holes in the levy. We're use to being the underdog, but we're not use too loosing. So let's make this thing happen.

Any printers out there want to help out? Thanks, BB

Birmingham Compassion has $500 we have been saving for just such a rainy day. I would challenge other clubs with a little money in the bank and no immediate plans to make it available to this effort as well.

Does anybody know a good printer for this sort of thing? Can we get a design from the Leyton crew?

I am tracking down a few more contributions as well. I figure we have at least 1000 already. PM me if you want to help out.

Just a thought here , Is their any High School Vocational Tech Centers or Community Collages in the state with a Print Shop or Graphic Arts Department . In Days of old I know they would take on a project like this for Expenses Only and let the students do it for a grade in the class . A Win Win situation for the cause for Minimal Dollar$ . Food fer Thought ,,,

Greg from Medicating Social Network got in touch with the campaign and let me know they have an account with Kendall Printing in Flint. They are getting me prices.

Signs are good but did you also buy stakes or wires?

They are a full-service establishment, apparently, and they are included.

Good job taking this and running with it.

It's too bad that the mmma leadership has waited so long to endorse candidates. Why can't we get a pinned thread indicating mmma endorsements so we can copy them down???

I think that is a solid idea. RevThad, maybe you could start and pin that, prime it with Virg Bernero and David Leyton, then we can build the rest of the list via the thread, and edit the first post to reflect the consensus.

My friend, I am not sure that I am able to pin any threads... I am still not sure on how to promote threads to the front page, other than bump them :).

I agree though, we do need to make sure these important messages get out there, and get out there in time. I will start the thread if you want, and see if we can't get one of the great mods around here to help with the pinning part. Just let me know.

GREAT JOB ON GRABBING THE BULL BY THE HORNS ON THIS ONE!!!

Can we purchase more of them?
