Hi! I just visited a clinic to get my certification paperwork. I have not sent it in yet, I'm waiting to find a caregiver. I have Crohns disease, and need only a small amount (around half an ounce) per month. A high CBD strain would be best for me, since it helps the most with nausea and inflammation, which Crohns causes.
I live in the metro Grand Rapids area, and I'm willing to drive to pick up the medicine.

Any help would be great. Thank you!

Welcome to the 3MA AfterDark

i would send in your paperwork now, keep possession of the plants even if your not going to start growing for the moment, get setup as a pt asap.. I say that because finding the right caregiver can be a time consuming process. You may be ok signing with the 1st one you meet up with, but its like looking for a babysetter, many are good, but only a couple really fill the need well.

sending in your paperwork gets you legal and the protections, plus many caregivers may not work with a patient that is not already setup. Its a symptom of Bill Schuette and crew.

Whew. I'm in a bind and I'm looking for some help.

I've been a MMJ patient since last fall, after getting very sick with Crohns Disease. Through this amazing forum I was so lucky to find an incredibly reliable, trustworthy, kind caregiver. Due to me not being in the best financial situation, he was able to give me a free ounce every month. But now, his crop got infested with mites and destroyed thousands of dollars in equipment. He's sadly going out of business.

Because of this, I'm looking for a new caregiver in the metro Detroit area who could set me up with 3/4 of an ounce every month. Like I said, I don't have a lot of money. I'm a student, and too sick at the moment to work. It would be nice to still get my medicine for free, but am willing to chip in a bit. I'm also fine with driving a bit- home delivery isn't needed :)

If you or anyone you know can help me, please drop me a message. I'd really appreciate it.
