I have some exciting news: We have a new home for our work in Michigan.

We're opening our Macomb County office this Tuesday, April 17th, and I hope you'll come celebrate with us. You'll get to meet other supporters who are committed to re-electing the President, and there'll be music and plenty of refreshments to go around.

So what are you doing this Tuesday? Stop by the office opening celebration.

Here are the details:

What: OFA-MI office opening party in Macomb County

Where: OFA-MI Macomb County office
37378 Van Dyke Ave.
Sterling Heights, MI 48312

When: Tuesday, April 17th
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

One of my favorite things about being a part of this organization is the people -- from just-won't-quit staffers and volunteers, to the folks we meet at the door or chat with on the phone. It's because of people like them stepping up that we are able to build this movement in neighborhood after neighborhood, here in Michigan and across the country.

And what's brought us all together is believing in a common cause -- organizing to help President Obama and other Democrats win this fall.

The new office in Sterling Heights will be the hub for all that hard work for the next seven months, but on Tuesday, we're getting together to just hang out and get to know each other. We don't get to do that enough, which is why you should come out and be a part of it.

RSVP for our office opening party on Tuesday:

Romney made 21 million last year that has to effect his perception . I doubt he noticed a can of cambells tomato soup went from 2 / $1 to $1.25 the past 7 months or a tank of gas often takes 25% of a persons check at minimum wage . Obama made $789,000 and paid a higher percentage of income in taxes .

Not one patient or caregiver has been convicted by the federal government since Obama was president. The justice department has said several times they will not prosecute individuals. They are only out to raid and bust commercial operations. Unless you're operating a dispensary, co-op, warehouse grow, etc. Obama doesn't care about you.

The thing that I don't like about Ron Paul is that under his presidency if Michigan decided to give the death penalty for possession of a one MMJ cigarette, that would be alright with him.

Very very very untrue...

That would be unconstitutional, so Dr. Ron Paul would not think it was OK, at all. Michigan has lost cases in the supreme court in the past for "cruel and unusual punishment", which is against the US constitution. Dr. Paul is a constitutionalists and believes we should follow it, which protects us from the corporate government elite. It also protects individual against the majority, we are a republic, not a democracy like we are taught.

Mit or Obama, two birds of a feather as far as Medical Marijuana. The only differences is Obama lies about his persecution of medical marijuana.

And, Ron Paul is against a woman's right to choose what she does with her body.

With that being said, I did go and see him speak in Dearborn a few weeks ago and I also voted for him in the republitard primary...because the rest of them are completely unacceptable and vary in their degrees of "bat s-h-i-t crazyness"

Unless Ron Paul pulls off some sort of miracle in Tampa and walks out of their convention as their nominee, I'll have to vote for Obama simply because he is (again) the lesser of two evils.

What I do like to think about (and those that really know me are fully aware of my incredibly warped sense of humor) is that the Republican National Convention is going to be in Tampa, Florida right during the height of hurricane season.

If it was possible for a Category Five Hurricane to hit that convention center (and no place else) - I wouldn't be all choked up about it.

If the Tea Party was truly a separate political party and didn't have the letter "R" - republican - after their name at the ballot box I might take them more seriously...

Unfortunately, we are forced to choose between a t-u-r-d and a s-h-i-t sandwich come November. Will someone please pass the Grey Poupon?

Ron Paul said that he would remove cannabis from the CSA, leaving it up to each state to decide on what it wants to do....

He wants to legalize it on a federal level. He doesn't care what the state' governments do. That was my point.

I wouldn't vote for someone like Obama because I think when I vote for someone I am endorsing their policy and so I share the responsibility for what they do. I don't want blood and bits of shredded Constitution on my hands.

uncle Tom Obama?????
are you kidding???
....everything he said he would do to get elected he did the opposite....and that's why he will get another term.
He did everything the banksters that run the country wanted. And the money is who decides and runs this country.

Ron Paul is the only logical choice and he will never be elected...he wants to end the fed! They will never let that happen since we are now governed by the " federal" government.....not the United Statesgovernment which is what most America-cants still believe
