Sorry for the R in the posts,

this MMMA server for some reason is taking the letter Y and N and changing them, but you can still figure it out easily --- small n means they voted NO.

zapos, can you fix the code in the software so Y and N is displayed as such -- this is cut and pasted so I did nothing with the voting record, just cut if from the vote record and pasted here....the

server changed it, not me !!

Peace,

Freddy, you only need to deal with this if you are a constituent in one of these districts. This is a very targeted set of people. If you know people in these districts, please help us get the word out that we need patient and caregiver attendees to these meetings. The upshot of these meetings is the invasion of privacy in HB 4834 by allowing the police roadside access to the private medical information in the registry. And 63% of the voters said yes in 2008.

Are there any Compassion Clubs or groups in these areas that can help organize attendees for these meetings? I can assist with Farmington Hills, Rochester Hills, Royal Oak, and Pontiac.

I will do the best I can: My person of concern is Paul Clemente, D. Lincoln Park. I will get the word out as best as I can. Anyone in this area plz pm me

great great list rockinsteady. Every single one of these Reps voted in favor of 4834 the access to the registry bill. Every one needs to change that vote. We need 7 more votes to defeat this bill in the House. This is the last chance to politely talk to your Reps and ask for their support. You can ask them if they are aware that Senator Jones's amendments have made this bill very bad for patients and caregivers? You can ask them if it is their intention to take away your constitutional rights? There is a reason for many of the people to be on the list of those who can gain access according to the drafters of the bill: they have arrest powers. What arrest powers do Prosecutors have? Why should they be on the list?

Jim Townsend a D from Royal Oak voted for this garbage in May.... amazing to me....

is there a list of good arguments that i can make against these bills when talking to a rep?

i will try to meet with vicky on saturday at panera. if anyone wants to combine forces or needs a ride lemme know.

i mean, 4834 started off as being part of the lein? registry which would make accessable by security guards, employers, etc. but now isnt it only accessable by police, after a search warrant, or during the search warrant application process? which draft did they vote on and what draft will they vote on in the future? its all very confusing.

its going to be weird talking marijuana in front of a bunch of normal people :D

ok , i printed joel's story and wrote up some opinion on the four bills, based on the 26% thread , (plus the senate bill by sen jones to remove glaucoma) and handed it to Vicki Barnett.

i only got a minute to talk to her, she was mostly giving speech and info and taking questions about the big issues (bridge, taxes, voter supression). so i didnt have to speak about mmj in front of everyone. nice crowd of 30-50 people.

it was painless and i'll try to make the one in redford and/or westland. i have transportation so if anyone wants a ride within 10 miles let me know. i'd also appreciate it if someone reminded me , my memory isnt so great.
