Why autoflowerers?

Only need one room, no seperate veg/ bloom rooms or clone rooting area.

Only need one light, one timer, one nutrient bottle.

There are a lot of reasons for growing auto's.

There are also a lot of negatives as well.

Low yield, inconsistent autoflowering, inability to clone so you must start with seed.

The genetic variability of Seeds means that you can find a Keeper. However the inability to clone stops you from keeping a Keeper though, that sucks.

Can you imagine continual outdoor harvest?

Plant Seeds every week, harvest every week...NICE

Going to try them, as they are continually being improved.

Maybe someday I will make my own Auto- C99.

That would be Awesome.

Dr Greenthumb has the Iranian auto in seed form.

As far as I know it is the Only Cloneable Auto.

Although I could be wrong I suspect some of the things above are no longer true.

Catch the autoflower issue of Skunk mag. SeemoreBuds (sounds like an old porno movie name) grew under two leds in dwc which he supposedly is a master of grew one autoflower from dutch passion that yielded 356 gm dry in approx 75 days. He grew their mazzar for a 350 gm yield. Just shy of 12 oz. He grew it from seed in the same container. The reason you should plant the thing in the container you intend to finish in is due to the fact that the plant is on a fixed schedual and loosing any growth due to potential transplant shock makes for a smaller plant.

A total newbie grew a Think Different in soil with an airpot under a 250 watt dual arc bulb ( never heard of one that small but whatever it was HID) he got a little over 6 oz. These are plants that are waist high. I am currently starting up one and intend to use a different one to reverse sex of in order to try to create seed with good autoflower potential. I heard with autflowers breeding is picking out the best plants of a given generation because you cannot keep a mother plant. So I certainly agree with most of what you said in terms of wishful thinking.

It is claimed the effects of these new autoflowers is similar to the usual photoperiod plants but I have not ate that pudding yet! Will let you know. I am growing in dirt. The plant will go under a 600 or 1k lamp.

seen them restock it a few times already so I bet it'll be back again soon. What's cool and kinda surprised me about autos is that you def. know which is male or female within weeks. I only germed two, and since they are hard to get cuttings from (and not cheap) I F2'ed the pair. Also pollenated the female Spyder with Ziggy's-brand auto too.

Yes indeed autoflowerers have came a long way.

There are a couple of Sativa dominant ones I would like to try.

Nirvana Sky and Super Cali-Haze.

Supposed to be Super Auto's. Bigger plants / higher yield.

Yeah the hybridized super-autos may end up being the only way to go for potency and yield. thanx for tip on a few good ones. reg autos may have a niche. not light cycle dependent, you can flower them right out of the gate as soon as spring hits. they are compact, they are stealth. from a distance they may look like just lil clump or a turtle, but up close we see it's a rabbit. in the right garden, i'd hop my auto would last 45 minutes.

Hey guys if You are interested in them(Autos), there is a website devoted to them.

It is called the Autoflowering network.

There are a lot of new varieties with different yields and Meds.

It is really nice.

Not trying to divert traffic from this site, I just thought it might be useful info for people looking into auto flowering plants.

Jah Bless

will putting an auto flower under 12/12 slow down its growth? I have a nice size auto going right now and moved her into the bloom room to free up some space in the veg room. I'm coming up on 80 days from seed and she still looks like she has more growing to do.
