Essential Tools Of The Trade

"strong" ? "weak"? "high tolerance"? "real deal"? "knocks your head off"? "how it should be"? all very scientific considerations in the restorium world I suppose. I too don't medicate with or know anyone who would tolerate getting their head knocked off in three hits, since high school anyways.

I have NO doubt that what I am dabbing is NOT what you are dabbing, with no offense intended. My dabs were always made with pharmaceutical equipment and lab grade technique, the exact same way other botanical medicinals are extracted, at the pharmacy even. I've partied with people smoking their basement dank mildew smelling weeds telling us all it was the best they ever had too, with a grain of salt. Their other close friends agreed with the grower, and all got their socks knocked off too. I escaped, socks and all. to each his own, including assumptions, egos, and preferences.

good day

Dabbing for hours was the clue in... Take it for what it's worth. That's not normal activity with most all oil extractions. You don't want to 'dab it' for hours. Get it done in a couple hits and enjoy the effects for hours is the norm.

"puffing dabs for hours" gives no clue to how much product is used, only the duration of the experience, while the works are nearby for touch ups is all.  A day may actually include 12 hours, of periodic dabs every few hours for thought. The point with the statement was the part you missed "with no adverse effects", even with massive overdosing as you first thought, yet, two hits of decarbd material and my "socks are knocked off", a feeling a despise personally, as does my registry thusfar.

recall, I don't just let anyone in. Maybe the types that only dab at night for fear of the potency are the very types I would recognize and pass on for thought. this could explain my registry bias and patient's proclivity for the services and product(s) I offer.

There are many signs of those I pass up. Like facial tattoos. I don't have anything against tats at all, but I find I cannot service the types of patients that wear prison tears, or zig zag Boris on their necks.  The  types that hate their job and come home and slam beers on the couch are not satisfied with what I do. Oycodone, mscontin, Prozac users are generally not happy with my services. I really don't care why these days. Its more important to me to get them the help they deserve quickly without wasting our time trying to accommodate each other.

.  Its not personal, but I just cant service some people, and the magic happens when I can pass on them and give due attention to those I can help.  Calculating the "types" that are compatible is my job, for positive patient experiences.  I bet your patient interview with me would end quickly, sans registration, just saying...nothing personal. You'd soon find I could not service you properly, for one reason or another.

A baking stone and timer, I have found, are now essentials.  No more forgetting when I started decarbing and the baking stone protects against swings in temperature common in my old electric stove.

Gotcha. Even gas ovens run on thermostats. That can be minimized using a stone, pyrex glass, cast iron anything, or porcelain pottery.

Everybody hates their job. I don't know one person that actually "likes" their job. Why is that part of your criteria?

("The types that hate their job and come home and slam beers on the couch are not satisfied with what I do. Oycodone, mscontin, Prozac users are generally not happy with my services.")

Making sure that I do not accept a patient that I am sure I cannot help is important to me while attempting to get those patients  the help they need quickly. If I entertain the idea of caregiving for someone when I know I most likely will not be able to help them I'd be doing a disservice .  Experience has taught me which patients to invite into my registry for the best positive patient outcome. Job haters who slam beers nightly have always been the types that I find I cannot service properly.

The patients that are most happy with me fit certain models admittedly, coincidentally/incidentally . I provide this service at very low cost to my patients, barely enough to continue servicing this way......The last thing I want to do is complicate my life with types who historically do not like me or what I do.

All of the people I know and love actually are happy, patients and friends, good and bad health, love their job, life, and people. Misery loves company though, and I feel blessed to be surrounded in life by others who feel as I do. It wasn't always like that for me, until I realized I had choices.

Yes, this narrows down my patient pool significantly, good thing I don't care if I have patients or not. If they are to be, then it's up to me.

But imagine surrounding yourself with just patients that love you and what you do for them, never having issues, knowing and trusting them on another level? We have permission to do so.

Namaste

I can see your point.   A person that is constantly telling everyone and anyone what a great person they are..........would make me suspicious also.

I hope you've not misunderstood. My post said nothing about how good I was. I am flattered that you can see that just from my posts though, because frankly, I try to be the best I can be all the time. I owe it to myself, and to you too. You should be suspicious hun, of everyone, even here. You are in a marijuana forum, and don't know but a fraction of the players. You say you feel vulnerable at times, and are suspicious of many others too, like doctors and lawyers and posters here, s should follow your instinct.

I just do what I do that is best for me. The key was to find others that share the same expectations as I do with medical cannabis. I'm smart enough to know I cant satisfy everyone. there is no "best" mj, or best grower, just different flavors and habits is all.

So I set out to locate others with similar dispositions. it's by no error that the majority of my patients have been artists, musicians, self employed, nerds, hippie girls and guys. they always have a smile on their face, are happy to see me, and I actually look forward to working for them.

Now, honestly, if I became money hungry, and needed additional income, I would let everyone and anyone enter my registry at will, set a minimum delivery, and just sell and re register often. I pay no regard to the lifestyles they may live, or the company they keep, or their criminal record, their education, points of interest, hygiene, drinking or drug habits, living arrangements and stuff.

That's not me. I want to know clean hippie girls, and rock and blues musicians, and more witty nerds. Why you say? because I can of course, this is my show, it belongs to me, and I'll do with it as I please. I love my results, so I'm going to keep on doing what I've always done, and expect the same as I've always got.

Well said, GM, well said! I whole heartedly agree!

Someone recommended I offer my services to an unsolicited/prospect patient. As soon as I figured out who they were speaking of...a big fat NO followed for the exact concerns. The reason I am pursuing this lifestyle is...well, I am finally in a position to do so safely and legally, with whom I choose, and that is very important me.

I quit working with the "public" after escorting a threat from my store and I haven't looked back. ...this is my show, it belongs to me, and I'll do with it as I please.

before my time, geesh. but thought you'd like this,

CAPE CANAVERAL – President Obama spoke to a group of NASA employees yesterday and used the occasion to reveal new details about his plans for space exploration.

“A long time ago, a rotund Brooklyn bus driver with a heart of gold by the name of Ralph Kramden used to promise his long-suffering wife that he was going to send her to the moon. One of these days, he used to say.”

At this Mr. Obama smiled at Mrs. Kramden, who was seated in the front row.

“Well,” he continued, “One of these days has finally arrived. Alice, you’re going to the moon!” he shouted, bulging his eyes and shaking a clenched fist in her direction. “You hear me?” Mr. Obama bellowed. “Bang! Zoom! To the moon!” he shrieked, and thrust his arm toward the sky.

Mrs. Kramden was observed forcefully moving her head from side to side, repeatedly mouthing the word ‘no’ before armed guards dragged her away.

The President said Mrs. Kramden’s lunar mission would show the world that his administration is committed to keeping America in the vanguard of interstellar foolishness.

these two go hand in hand, literally. My first Herb Iron lasted 2 years before failing. I got another one immediately !

and it failed a few weeks ago. I waited till I received my new Hakko soldering iron, 25 watt, to vaporize the special bits.

The tip easily unscrews for change out, then again to reveal an awesome metal screw on shield and under that is the gem, a solid round stock ceramic heating element. just like the Herb Iron. Herb Iron=$80

Hakko Dash 25 watt= $34

stay tuned for failure update. I suspect it will never fail. all along I had a dirty one in my toolbox for the last 27 years. It still works like new, for soldering.
