Brain Cancer And How To Make Cannabis Oil To Treat It!

Crude extraction. I see they are using Rick Simpson's 'Run for the gas mask and fire extinguisher' method.  We have come a long way since patients had to do it that way. Rest assured you can do a totally contained extraction staying in your limits. No one needs to do a half a pound at a time, out in the open, like that. Now that we just might have legal access to our oil again, let's be careful to make sure everyone knows you don't have to do it 'cowboy style'. You can do it cleanly and contained at home with the right equipment. I'm sure that 'cowboy style' works really good though, just a little rude and crude for most patients and neighborhoods. We don't want to have Mr. Jones using our videos to scare our neighbors. The process can be as safe and easy as making coffee in an automatic coffeemaker.

http://www.extremehealthradio.com/the-amazing-health-benefits-of-juicing-raw-cannabis-marijuana-leaves/

Contrary to popular belief, the marijuana plant is a whole lot more than just a psychoactive drug that “stoners” use to get high.

In raw form, marijuana leaves and buds are actually loaded with a non-psychoactive, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer nutrient compound known as cannabidiol (CBD) that is proving to be a miracle “superfood” capable of preventing and reversing a host of chronic illnesses.

Health%2BBenefits%2Bof%2BJuicing%2BRaw%2Though you may not have heard much about it, the CBD found in the marijuana plant — marijuana is technically just a vegetable, by the way — is a highly medicinal substance with unique immune-regulating capabilities. Since the human body already contains a built-in endogenous cannabinoid system, complete with cannabinoid receptors, inputting CBD from marijuana can help normalize the body’s functional systems, including cell communication and proper immune function.

The way CBDs work is that they bridge the gap of neurotransmission in the central nervous system, including in the brain, by providing a two-way system of communication that completes a positive “feedback loop,” according to Dr. William Courtney, a medical marijuana expert and founder of Cannabis International. As opposed to a one-way transmission, which can promote chronic inflammation of healthy tissue, the unique two-way transmission system engaged by marijuana CBDs mimics the body’s own natural two-way communications system.

So individuals whose systems are compromised by autoimmune disorders, cellular dysfunction, chronic inflammation, cancer cells, and various other illnesses can derive a wide range of health-promoting benefits simply by consuming CBDs. And one of the best ways to obtain CBDs is to juice raw marijuana leaves and buds, according to Dr. Courtney, who currently runs a clinic in Luxembourg that provides raw cannabis medicinal services to patients in need.

Decarboxylation is a chemical reaction that releases carbon dioxide (CO2). This means a chemical reaction takes place in which carboxylic acids loose a carbon atom from a carbon chain. This process converts THCA to THC, the much loved compound with many medicinal and psychoactive effects. When the cannabis drys, it very very slowly begins to decarboxylate and converts THCA to THC.

The good news is we don’t have to wait years for cannabis to decarboxylate. We can speed things along with a process that is a lot simpler than you might expect. Simply heating dried cannabis to the correct temperature for enough time releases that carbon dioxide and creates THC.  Decarboxylating takes place without extra effort when cannabis is heated during the act of smoking or vaporizing. It also takes place to some degree when cannabis is cooked into butter or when hash and kief are added to a favorite recipe and then cooked in the oven.

When making tinctures, cannabis is not heated or baked, it is simply soaked in high proof alcohol. Decarboxylation never takes place and you end up with a product with a lot of THCA and very little THC. This may be a good for some symptoms but will not produce the results most expect.

why can't we get just one of these self cures out of the anecdotal stage, and on to quantification? The extraction of dried cannabis flower tops has been used for thousands of years, for all kinds of purposes, and we have NO lab proof except in petri dishes ? Seems strange to me that dozens of countries have enjoyed legal cannabis for decades, and they have similar cancer rates to us.  Every one of the cases I read about state that many healthy lifestyle alternatives are being used at the same time as cannabis oil. RSO has naptha, bho does not, alcohol extracts chlorophyll, butane does not. Yet we hear great results with all of these?  Many folks have increased longevity, and definitely improved their quality of life with cannabis, and that's enough for me, but not for the medical community. May of these folks succumb to their cancers while using the extracts also. No doubt in my mind cannabis makes many therapies more successful, or at least easier to live with. Tommy Chong is a good example, he changed his spiritual and nutritional program, along with using cannabis oil, (not made with naptha). In a few years will the supplements, lifestyle/attitude change, prayer, be the reason he survives, or the cannabis ingestion, or all the above? would cannabis oil alone save him? many rick simpson "patients" have died from their cancers, did they take supplements also?  Why does our body cherish its new cancerous addition with rerouted blood vessels, and a fleecing of our vital nutrient sources, serving to help and speed up the growth ? Why would our body allow itself to starve to death in the name of feeding a cancerous tumor I wonder?

Cancer is most likely NOT caused by a cannabis deficiency(but maybe?). Lifestyle choices and very clear sets of conditions can accurately predict the presence of cancers, and removing those poor choices is the first proactive step in preventing/curing cancers. I would incorporate cannabis use into my therapy for sure, but don't even know why, except I feel better in life growing and using it.

I understand Apoptosis is the key action, and it's inhibited when cells are cancerous. Cannabis urges unhealthy cells to commit suicide for the greater survival of the group, before dividing.

Grants are available for this type of research.

Like many cannabis users, I see different reactions with different users, even at different times in their life. For instance I can ingest a properly dried sample bud with prominent results, without any further decarboxylation, and when decarb'd, even more. What if I don't like the "more"?  Drying my herb is plenty of decarboxylation for me and my patients to know the effects, and cooking the herb more, ends us all in a deep sleep. Some like that, some don't. More is better? maybe. Maybe a doctor someday will take this to a lab, with real patients, real cannabis, real results, we can hope. To say "this is the only way to make it work" is a ridiculous notion with only anecdotal results coming  various strains, chemical processes, solvents, growing habits, techniques and even personal chemotypes.

peace out

Cannabis plant extract is in a phase III trial here in the US for Cancer Pain. You do not have to prove it's a cancer cure to help cancer patients. It's proven, at least, to HELP cure cancer patients, by improving their health as they fight the disease. It's impossible to prove something cures cancer when our bodies are always killing cancer cells on their own. Our bodies just need a 'lil help', cannabis extracts are proven to do that. Cannabis extracts are just one weapon in the arsenal to treat cancer effectively.

will it cure her tumors? will she die?

subscribe to her twitter/tumblr and youtube to find out!

I cannot find her on twitter or tumblr. I did send a message through her YouTube though, hope she gets it and responds.

So, out of her story this is what you have to say?

How about, way to go Kristina! I hope it all works out! Such a young lady to have to go through that.

WTF is the matter with you? Your focus is on an old dragged out pissing contest?

I feel sorry for you for your obsessions with the old way of doing things, or maybe it is something against Rick Simpson?

I will pray for you.

kristina posted an update, she got married! unfotunately she was unable to access the cannabis oil for a time.
its hard to be able to get that much oil on a consistent basis.

in this update she says when she couldnt get the oil, the tumor had grown a lot.

the doctors put her in hospice and said she was going to die in december. then die in march.

well shes still kicking! still fighting that tumor with good spirits and started the ketogenic diet.

kristina does an update on her treatment, up to 2 grams per day of oil, including using suppositories. encouraging people to move to cannabis friendly states if they have cancer and want to treat it themselves. she talks about the other girl in the news (Brittany Maynard http://www.nola.com/news/index.ssf/2014/11/brittany_maynard_dies_peaceful.html) who has the same condition, Astrocytoma, who moved to oregon to get the assisted suicide drugs legally in that state.

kristina says shes doing great! yay !!!! good luck to all of those with brain cancer or tumors!

for some reason i keep saying "yay" when i post these updates. i guess i'm just happy to see her energy. her story makes me feel better.

kristina's hospice is paying for her to get an MRI.

i guess her healthy appearance and demeanor got the hospice curiosity going.

you maybe asking why she didnt get an MRI from her doctor to check her progress, in an earlier update she said that the doctors told her she was going to die and they had no more treatments available to her. so she had to "give up" on western medicine and continued her cannabis oil treatments. its also possible that the doctors wont bother with mri tests on dying (hospice) patients.

anyways, she is still kicking, and gardening! and going to the zoo! not bad for a hospice patient!
