Social-Ish Clubs (Non-Virtual) In Ypsi/a2

Not really a MMJ question, but it kind of is...

 

Are there any social hangouts in the Ypsilanti area? (or A2) where people who use medical marijuana congregate?

 

I've been using it for insomnia for a few months now, it took me some time to get past the initial effects but now it seems to be working quite well. :-)

 

However, I really don't know where a person would go to meet other people (in general, really..) but specifically people who use mmj. Might be kind of fun if there were such a place. I don't mean an online forum, I mean a real, physical place.

The disp Om of med has occasional events so does the wellness collective. Otherwise nothing that I am aware of.

Indica strains.

 

Tahoe - when I can find it! Bubba Kush, SFV OG.

 

The sativa strains don't help AT ALL and in fact seem to have the inverse effect, but I'm sure thankful the indica strains do. I highly recomend the Tahoe strain for anyone with insomnia.

 

Yea, Insomnia isn't a qualifying condition, however, if you have pain as a result of that insomnia (in my case, cardio probs. because I don't sleep...) the pain qualified me. It's really, really, really weird.

Evenings, there's one on michigan avenue in detroit.  fornmerly an alcohol bar, they call themselves a private social club, which means they do like a disp in that they check both cards DL and MMMP, and have you sign forms.  they discourage anyone from bringing in their own product or muncheez.  they supply $5 joints.  all the food is expensive, and costs more medicated.  anything dipped in oil, costs more.  the waitresses are scanty-clad and young and used to work at Hooters, one told me.  the clientele is 20's, and abundant and not low-key.

I hear that Benny is unhappy that people medicate and drive happily away, especially if their last name is Cushingberry.

You could try he MOCC club they do have get togethers every Sunday from 4-8 but its in Oakland County area

you can always start a social gathering, compassion club meeting, or other mmj friendly event.

 

just post a time/place. post to craigslist and newspaper and a couple flyers. people will show.

I would love to start a gathering, maybe a movie night, something cuz we tried to go out to a few festivals the other night and it just wasn't a good time, simply we just are not drinkers, we like being social but where. Anyone have a building or private lot they want to rent out on occasions?
