Huh? I cut and train almost all of my plants aside from a few strains who dont benefit from it.

in fact, neither will an indoor grown one, considering "potential" would be different if it had been grown outdoors in the ground.

I dont believe this to be true. While the power of the sun is great, being in the ground is not. You would get more from a huge pot of soilless mix.
