Tent Temp And Humidity

I do not post often but am interested about others experiences with tent growing.

I have a: 4X4 Grow Tent with a flow thru 1000 W light connected to an in-line exhaust fan which is linked to an temp/humidity controller.

 

Presently I have six three gallon containers with my plants which are two weeks into flower.  I am experiencing high humidity levels 70%+RH and in controlling them I do not seem to be able to get the tent temp as high as I would like.  Presently I am seeing temp highs in the 68-70 degree range.  I know that temp and humidity are very interrelated.  The plants seem very healthy but all the reading I have done indicates that higher temps would be better.  Any thoughts out there?

you need less humidity or you may get bud rot (depending on plant health / strain / hardyness).

Maybe, unhook the exhaust fan from the light and have it suck air from the bottom of the tent.

Its may help keep your heat in and remove more moisture. good luck

if humidity is an issue, control it with a dehumidifier. If heat is an issue, control it with a heater.
