Mr. ______, spoke regarding the illegal transport law. It is an unconstitutional law that

does not apply to medical marihuana patients. Michigan has attacked his rights. Federal precedence is

coming. The Royal Oak Police Department illegally arrested him for improper transport and took him to

jail where he was assaulted. He had a letter from Chief O’Donohue sustaining his complaint. He was still

considering filing a lawsuit. His email address is ______@gmail.com should any of the commission

want to contact him.

Thanks

I know this guy he comes over now and then nice guy fighting the good fight

The cop forces me out of the car, puts me in handcuffs, and sits me in the back of his squad car. I am forced to watch them search my vehicle, and after about 45 minutes he comes back and says my car is being impounded and my medication is being confiscated. He says I am being charged with a misdemeanor, Improper Transport.

Improper Transportation Voluntarily Dismissed

November 9, 2015 Improper Transportation of Marijuana, Medical Marijuana

A Shyler Engel, PLLC client was charged with Improper Transportation of Marijuana in Bloomfield Hills, not by any means a safe place for a medical marijuana patient. Being prosecuted in the 48th District Court can be a nerve-racking experience. Often, criminal defendants go to jail, even for first offenses. If jail is not imposed, testing probation is a near certainty. We filed our motions to dismiss and the prosecution asked for an adjournment of the motion hearing to reassess their opinion on our arguments. When we appeared for the rescheduled oral argument, the prosecutor voluntarily dismissed the charges against our client.

lol grassmatch, no i do not.

shiawassee county must be pretty low on the list, since the prosecutor there said there was a conflict of those laws and will not be prosecuting improper transport.

if i had to guess it would be either a large city, in proximation to other large cities, like say royal oak in oakland county, or another county between detroit and traverse city along i-75.

Argh! Folks, keep your stash and paraphernalia in the TRUNK or lockbox! Don't give law enforcement an excuse for an arrest or expensive ticket! LOTS of folks in power are fighting a losing battle against legalization and they'll do anything they can to make life difficult for freedom loving people that want to exercise their right to use the medicine of their choice and/or the mind-altering substance of their choice.

KEEP IT IN THE TRUNK!

I got charged with improper transportation of marijuana. ... Long version, details: I have my medical card, but did not have it on me because my hard copy was lost in the mail, and my big paper copy was left at home. ... I had two choices, plead not guilty or guilty. I ended up pleading guilty to Improper transportation of marijuana.

interesting stuff. make sure you get a good lawyer if you are going to hire lawyer.
