Hello All!

Recommended Posts

Hi all!  I'm new to the site and live in the Central Michigan area.  I'm retired military (over 20 yrs, Vietnam and Gulf War era) with a VA rated disability as well as a physical defect I was born with.

I decided quite awhile ago to discontinue use of pharmaceutical meds after fully realizing the potential for the adverse effect on my body. I've already seen evidence of decreased organ function from the results of my last full physical with my primary physician, which is likely due to too many years of pharmaceutical meds.

I finally got off of my rear and met with a certification doctor, and now await the paperwork from the State (did the certified/return receipt mailing/tracking the check).

I'd like to eventually manage my own medicine grow (I've only grown Petunias in the yard a few times and planted a few trees), but I'd feel more confident with establishing a relationship with a knowledgeable and established caregiver.  Once I have my hard card from the State in my hand, I'll start actively looking for a caregiver.  Feel free to PM questions.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to the knowledge I've found here. Lots to read and digest.

Peace, be safe, and have a great day.

Petunias!  Yea, they're pretty easy to grow and all you have to do is pick the dead ones and they grow like crazy!  I remember back in the day that I got Yard of the Month once in military housing mainly due to the Petunias.  :)  I noticed your location is France.  Dad was military and we lived there for three years.   Great memories.  :)

i had a wild petunia come up once in the garden, beautiful plant.

nows a good time to start learning to garden. buy some seeds at the dollar store, rip up some grass in the backyard and throw the seeds down. water often.

well, after all this darn snow melts anyhow. few more weeks says the groundhog.

I finally got off of my rear and met with the only doctor posting here recently (not that I expected any less, but I was very pleased with the professionalism of himself and his staff), and now await the paperwork from the State (did the certified/return receipt mailing/tracking the check).
