Registered With The State, We Are On The Radar 4Ever Now?

So once you register with the state, whether you renew your card or allow it to expire, we are now on the radar forever with the state of Michigan? I have come across several reports where ppl have been pulled over and had expired cards, and the police know this once they run your state ID/License, and then proceed to search your vehicle, illegally mind you. 

 

My questions is simple, so once you register with the state for a Michigan Medical Marijuana Card, and whether it is active or expired,, do the cops have access to this information? If you read the MMMA it states no,,, but if you know anyone recently pulled over, then you know the answer is yes.

 

What the fork happened to HIPPA? Why the fork does a cop pulling you over have a right to ask you "why are you on "medical" MJ? We all know that we have rights to refuse those questions,, but we all know what happens when we refuse. So we are forced into answering those questions, which violate the HIPPA regulations. Why? Because we don't know any better.

 

Why can a judge ask us what we are using MMJ for or what our patients are using it for? Where the fork is HIPPA in this? We should NOT have to answer these questions. Peoples health conditions should be considered, are we not obliged to cooperate with HIPPA regulations?

This crap is not cool and needs to be stopped! This is not what the People of Michigan voted for,,,

HIPPA protects the way your information is transferred to another. Nothing to do with you answering a cops questions.

I believe one day those reports will be true. I do not believe they are true currently.

 people getting pulled over with no drivers license. somehow the cops know just who to pull over, maybe its the burned out taillights, expired plates, warrants.

See, that is what i needed,, a true fact,, what I believed,, to what is reality. I want to know the truth.  I am here to learn what is right and wrong, like so many others. We just need the truth to be told and no opinions!

The point was not about whether or not the card was active or expired, it was about the fact that now the LE know this when they pull each and every one of us over.

More than half of the people I come across have seen the dr to renew their cards, it's unbelievable how many people let their cards expire. 40-60%..

 As a basic example, if you ever allowed a dispensary to make a photocopy of your card, and that dispensary was subsequently raided, your information is likely in a police database somewhere.

 

Even without a raid, it's possible that whatever was copied is still on the copier.  i.e. application forms with personal info, social security number, etc.

HIPPA rights has never been an issue for law enforcement.  Just ask the lady that had the raid/ordeal in GR recently.  LEO didn't think twice about announcing to everyone that could hear that she was a caregiver with a growop in the house.  Are you a Ripper in need of a house to rob?  Just check with the GRPD and they will hook you right up!

If anyone was smart enough to realize that CBS blew the whole thing out of proportion, then good for you. If you knew ANYTHING about copiers, and storage technology you would know that this only affects people who deliberately store information on their copiers hard drives. Let me explain.

 

COPIERS DO NOT STORE YOUR COPIES TO THEIR HARD DRIVES UNLESS YOU TELL THEM TO DO SO BY MEANS OF SCANNING TO THE HDD OR TO THE DOCUMENT SERVER.

 

When you make a copy, it stores it RAM, NOT ON THE HDD. And yes ALL copiers have some form of RAM, but NOT ALL COPIERS HAVE HARD DRIVES. After it's stored to RAM it's in there untill someone makes the next copy or untill you turn off your machine. DATA STORED IN RAM IS NOT ABLE TO BE READ BY ANY MEANS ONCE POWER IS TURNED OFF.

 

If you want to debate this fact, do some research on volitile memory (RAM) and non-volitile memory (flash memory and hdds). Anyone with a basic knowledge of electronics engineering can tell you the differences.

 

So before anyone gets up in arms about this,  do some research.

I have been pulled over a few times with meds on me, never was a problem. Maybe i got lucky? The one time i was driving on suspended, car was impounded and meds taken. They gave them back after i bonded myself out. I made post about it a few years ago. Pretty sure im in a data base somewhere. O well, cards are valid, laws followed. No biggie.

She came to me and said, "You know you were seen "kissing" that girl behind the "swingset" and we have some things to talk about. I could have got away with the denial, but somehow she "knew" the fact. I confessed, and then she told me she lied about knowing......fugg  some cops are like lying girls too maybe.

I live in a small town, I know of alot of pts and growers, and the only ones I know that have problems did something to bring leo to them, Heck even my couple of arrests leo was drawn to me for one reason or another, I was found to not be breaking the laws and let go and got my bond back, no charges!  If I wasnt with who I was or doing what I was, leo would have not came, and if I was breaking the mm law I would have been charged dont ya think?

 

shoot bro my ole lady wears skin tight bunny muffin all of the time, I love how she looks and im sure many men and woman do also, I see them breaking their necks to get a look, lmao!  I like it,,,I met her dressed that way, why would I want her to change now?

 

Im just glad im not in the profiling category, now them people get pulled over for the simple things, leo follows them so long they get nervious and might make just a lil swerve and they get pulled over, and you know as well as me if you have an oz of good smoke inside of your car they can smell it! so I will admit the profiled groups might get pulled over for nothing, but how do they get arrested for breaking the mm law?

Cops have lots of tricks to make someone show their hand. I remember one saying that if people acted nervous he would ask them, "Do you have anything I should know about? Drugs, alcohol or heat seeking missiles?".

 

The innocent would generally laugh or make some comment about the missile remark and tend to think he was just a friendly cop making a joke. Those with something to hide would usually just say "No sir", because their minds were focused elsewhere.

If you think that EVERY patient or caregiver that has seen trouble must have done something wrong then I am and always will be here to tell you that it just isnt so.............. Are all innocent and done no wrong? No of course not but you know as well as I know that there are some leo that just dont give a fukk...........
