oh.. fyi i no longer extend any credit to my patients.  ultimately that was my best possible solution.. cash and carry only.

 

This is the best way to deal. If you do someone a solid at your own expense, that can become your reputation. It becomes harder and harder to refuse favors for people the more you extend those favors to others. Your patients should respect you enough to understand the risks you take in being a cg, and the expense involved in caring for them. Compensating you for the risks you take is the least they can do to show you their respect.
