I sure wish more people would ride their bicycles. Maybe even a few personas on this board.

I have quite a few nice bikes, I didnt know it was bike day! I collect old american made shwinns, I bought a 26" 1972 contental for 5 bucks at a garage sale, It is the same bike I had until I got my drivers liscense lol, the best touring bike I have ever owned, in like 89 I bought mountian bike, raley american made(forgot the spelling) I still have the bike and life time warrnatee, its a 21 speed, has all the goodies, cost me 300 bucks, I have the bill still, I have never done anything to it but ride the heck out of it!

 

I also have a mens and womens matching set of shwinn collegiates, 5 speeds, green 1972's with original bill of sales, they cost 88 bucks back then, I listed them on ebay ( paid 100 bucks for the 2) for 200 bucks pick up only, I had so many people write me and ask for pics of the peddles !?! I put a few in the auction and some one offered me 200 bucks for the 4 peddles, done deal lol, I shipped the peddles put schwinn peddles back on and they look kewl when the ole lady and I drive them around the camp grounds and our lil town!

 

they run on water, juice, beer,etc lol!

Happy bike day    , this one is my dads from the late '30's early '40's 

 

 

 

 Mine from the '70's and still today . This is actually the second one that I had to buy because the original got stolen back in the day .  Just a 10 speed .
