I have my clones they are about 18 inches high and under CFL lights all night  and sunlight in the day. They are still in the SOLO cups should I transplant them into bigger pots now? Then I am going to put them in my greenhouse I was wondering if the nighttime temps which will get into the 40s will cause me grief. They are going into 25 gallon pots in the greenhouse. Any advice  at all would be welcomed  Thanks

Yes they are likely becoming rootbound and they need to stretch their toes. Next time 9 inches or so might be better

yep, bigger is better.

your 40 degree f temps shouldn't be an issue, but for safety you could put a clear dome or cover over them. They like that in the cold. water when lights(sun)on though.

Thanks I got them transplanted into bigger pots yesterday. Will move them out to the greenhouse next week sometime since the cold temps wont hurt them. I can as long as they are in the 2 gallon pots move them in if it gets too cold. Anything else I need to be doing?

you can "top" the plants, which will increase the yield by producing more colas (stems).

You could also look into fimming, a technique very similar to that of topping.

the "best" is defined by the one that performs best in your situation. The best is to let them grow naturally sans the hassle, in my opinion.

I concur.  I'd much rather "bend"  or just let them grow natural than cut.  Cutting is added stress on the plant.

SCROG is better-suited for places where a grow is legally limited by square footage rather than number of plants.
