Hello again.... Well I seem to have a deficiency in my Pineapple express plants. they have some yellowing on the lower and middle leaves. what happened was they had some nute burn I beleive so the next watering I gave them just plain water no nutes and now I Realized I should have probable gave them a slight nute solution. I am using General Organics and am in second week of flower. Any suggestions I cannot feed as the soil is still wet.

Organic nutrients don't feed your plants. they instead feed your soil, and the bacteria, nematodes, and fungi within it. Their byproduct of the organic breakdown results in useable nutrient salts, like magnesium and nitrogen. Neither the organic solution, or the salts left behind are easily washed from soil. I suggest letting your soil dry out before watering again. If you choose to use the nutrient additives, read and follow the directions exactly.

You'll notice that vegging nutrients are higher in nitrogen than the flowering nutrients. this lack of nitrogen will most definitely turn leaves yellow as they die off, just look outside towards the second half of the growing season, leaves everywhere are turning yellow.

don't over think it, you'll be fine, and most of all, enjoy your harvest soon !

Ok I didnt think it was a big deal really just my other 2 plants have had plain water and no yellowing but maybe pineapple express is different and responds differently. I was just sort of worried since a few leaves in the middle were turnining yellow, but the new growth looks fine.

might be too wet, fussy, or just nothing at all. watch her closely, let the soil dry to the touch before you water it. the larger the container the less watering. Don't be afraid to carefully snip those ugly lookers right off. Or, keep in mind pests mostly like plants that are weak, sick, or at least appear to be so. Ever wonder why many pest strips are "yellow" ?

Yea Thats what I used to feed when I was in 3 Gallon pots, I think it is a nitrogen Def, must of been slightly flushed when I gave plain water, I just need to wait till the pots dry out to feed and hope that it doesnt effect my harvest luckily I am in the beggining of flower...

are you nuts??  those are typically 8-10 week flowering plants. At or near finish they all turn colors man, just like outside. This is caused by a few things, including tapering the feeding schedule down towards the end of flower. buds change to purple, yellow, blue, red, and even white.....please don't pull another plant. buy Jorge Cervantes "Grow Bible" and follow directions. It's bound to get better for you. good luck

I had a pineapple express for my first grow and I had to pull it up at 6 weeks due to the yellowing started getting to the buds I could not figure it out for nothing. Good luck I hope yours turn out better then mine.

Well its been a few days since they have been watered with plain water and they still arent dry I leave a Fan on them 24/7 and did some foliar spray last night to help but I know they need Nutes should I just keep waiting till it dry out completely? The leaves keep yellowing I know they are starving for food.

respectfully, I'd gargle on what thread posters are suggesting. It seems you may not be taking what we're giving. Your plants are still wet because they are no longer uptaking properly. Adding anything will only do more harm. You should know your nutrients are not feeding the plants, but the soil. Chances are you'll harvest before they are even fully broken down. Relax, let the plant do what it needs to do, stop watering/feeding until its dry when you poke the soil. Watering your soil is not "flushing" anything out, until you overwater, and that just cuts your oxygen to your roots, kills your beneficial fungi, and upsets your microbial herds, all needed to break down the soil rock into useable mineral salts.  No need to concern yourself if directions on the bottle are followed, and good garden habits practiced. it only gets better each time. good luck
