Possible Frost Tonight Here

So where I live there may be frost tonight, thing is, I have some ladies out in the greenhouse. Now, what is the best way to approach this? Do I bring them in for the night and put them into a room, or, do I simply throw a sheet over the greenhouse and hope for the best? Would dig some input here =)

If  not too much trouble bring them inside. No need to take chances.

Well as it stands only one of my plants is going to have trouble being moved and that's the Strawberry Blue that I have in the 25gal pot. The others are all easily mobile but that one is a doozy haha.

Large plants can take a frosty night or two 

Small ones should be covered with newspaper...

so the greenhouse isnt attached to the house then?

 

you could just put a blanket around it, or over the entire greenhouse if the greenhouse can handle the weight

a tarp will also do.

 

even the greenhouse will protect against frost by itself.  frost is just cold air that freezes. as long as you have something covering plant it should be ok.

but 40deg will stunt plants of course.

The greenhouse is right next to the house, but not attached. I'll probably either toss a tarp or a blanket over it  those being the options. The smaller plants are all mobile enough to move by myself, it's only the awkward handling of that 25gal haha. That plant is getting some size to her though, I'll have to take another picture in a couple days to show the weeks' progress.

I figured out how to reliably move it with the small tractor so it's all worked out! 

 

Yeah, my 25gal lady is my star lady right now. The first plant I've ever grown, so I wanted her to shine! Last weeks pics are in the gallery though, it's the Strawberry Blue. The cotton candies are each in 15gal pots. I'll be taking update pics sometime Mon-Weds =)
