Does Molasses Work

This is my first grow ever and I am finishing day 40 of flower on 2 lovely TGA / Jack The Ripper! From seed on 3/11 and into the bagged Super Soil, vegged in 1 gal pots, transplanted shortly after into 10 gal pots. I have used ONLY tap water for feeding which bubbles in a tank constantly. I have no idea about EC, PPM, or PH. Plants are housed in a 5x5 Gorilla grow tent with 1000 watt Solis Tek, hurricane extraction for light cooling, dehumidifier & 2 oscillating fans. Tent is in a cool AC basement. Lights on temp is 74-78. Humidity is at 45%. And I top dress soil occasionally as well.

I have used molasses every third watering these last 2 weeks and in my opinion...it works well. Having said that... it is my first grow!

used it all the time in soil, yest it works, used it for years in soil, not so good in hydro.. only reason i quit using it, but make sure its original black strap molasses no added crap.. It promotes beneficial bacteria as well..

in flower it can also add a nasty evident flavor to a finished buds. If one must use a grocery store food item like molasses in their indoor garden bubbling it with a bit of dirt or fertilizer for a day or two will show the best benefits. Beneficial soil organisms have flourished indoors and outdoors for hundreds of years without the addition of molasses for thought though. plants don't eat molasses, but those bugs in the soil and flying around sure like it.
