Og Kush Started Flowering Outside

Appears my Og Kush is starting to flower its out in my greenhouse. Isnt it too early for this? I put them out into the greenhouse June first. They were getting 18 hrs of light. did putting them out into 14 hours induce early flowering? It is female as far as I can tell

male flowers will appear to be little banana's, while small white hairs will appear on female flowers, to be sure.

Your girls are flowering exactly on time. reducing the time from 18 to 14 did indeed induce your flowers.

white hairs is female flowering, a natural response to reduced light.  in the absence of pollen you will get buds, not seeds nor hermies.

had the og been under 14 hours of light and you moved them to under sun, they'd have vegged until august 13, then begun flowering.

Thanks This is my first grow - didn't realize this till after the fact. Live and learn Im glad that at least they wont turn into Hermes.

I have several strains(Tahoe,medicine man, cherry og, critical+, Cheesedog, etc) that begin pre flowers while their copies are under 24hr light for thought.

If your og is genetically predisposed to hermaphrodism, you may see the trait no matter.

There are quite a few excellent genetic strains that produce some white hairs in veg. SFV OG Kush happens to be one of those. Since this is your first grow I wouldn't expect you to be able to tell the difference between white hairs in bud and white hairs in veg. Got a pic?
