List Of Clinics Not To Go To For A Cert

Recommended Posts

I am a registered patient in Michigan and my certification expires next month, so i have been looking around for a clinic to get my renewal at, as the one I was originally certified at in Ann Arbor is closed.  I've heard so many stories about shoddy clinics that hand out cards like candy and I would like to avoid these like the devil.  I have Crohns disease aside from chronic pain.  I want a real doctor experience, not just someone handing me a cert.  If anyone knows of places to avoid that have doctors that dont speak english, 5 minute visits, dirty, dark offices and places that are in business purely for money (e.g. "card mills") I would appreciate it.  If anyone has had a great experience with a certain clinic please tell me where.  Thank you

I've had a great experience with Dr. Kennewell http://www.doctorbix.com/ Been with him since I started in '09. He spent over an hour with me on my first visit. I  think his price is pretty much middle of the pack(haven't really shopped around), and he lowered the yearly cost for the 2 year certification. He's worth every penny. Whether there are  any patients who've had bad experiences with him, I don't know, I would find it hard to believe. He speaks English real good :)

I am a UC sufferer myself, also chronic pain. Best of luck.

I also have UC and gastric problems,Dr Bix is the best. I have gone to him since the beginning. He is a very kind person not something you find in Drs that often. He doesn't just sign you,he looks at everything. I talked to him a couple months ago and his little girl was very sick and needed a heart transplant. We should all reach out and help him and Alesha find help for their baby girl.
