Ann Arbor Police Nab Man Suspected In Marijuana Dispensary Break-Ins

A 30-year-old man suspected in at least two marijuana dispensary break-ins and other larcenies in Ann Arbor has been arrested, police said.

Officers were called to the 2200 block of West Liberty Street at 1:41 a.m. Friday after being notified of a break-in by an alarm, said Ann Arbor police Detective Lt. Robert Pfannes.

The 30-year-old man was later arrested in he 2500 block of Adrienne Drive following a police investigation. A backpack containing evidence was recovered at the arrest scene.

The man is expected to be arraigned Saturday, Pfannes said.

An earlier break-in of a marijuana dispensary was reported at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 19 at the Treecity Health Collective, 2730 Jackson Ave. in Ann Arbor. A small amount of packaged medical marijuana was stolen, police said at the time.
