ding ding ding! wine press, that's the ticket.

what size is it? pic? $$? trade?

It's smaller, it's an antique but it works.  If you only want to make 5 gallons it will work but if you're trying to make a lot of wine, I would skip out and buy a $300 wooden press with capacity.

I am done making wine is why I am selling it.

 

I would trade.  I think the value is at $100obo

also have glass carboys, both 6.5G and 5G.  I would be willing to get rid of them.


It holds about a gallon volume but with presses, you dont fill them up completely.  Pressing smaller quantities more frequently works most efficiently.

I've got one similar to the one you have I think, a hundred years old I think. worked great with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, but bucked at the grapes sadly. I'm eyeballing a hydraulic jack and a press stand in my garage........here come the mess !
