Regular cast member and attorney Jeff Frazier, who years ago worked on the infamous Tulia case in Texas in which one of every three black members of the community were arrested and jailed by a multi-jurisdictional task force. Jeff worked with the ACLU and others to get the people out of jail and to disband the task forces around the state. He will discuss the recent appointment of Vanita Gupta to head the civil rights division of the Department of Justice and the role she played in helping to correct the injustice in Tulia, Texas, and describe what he has learned about the task forces in Michigan, and what actions may possibly be taken, as a result. Jeff has been working with Komorn Law and Michigan Moms United on these issues.

 

And, Hunter Holliman- Chief of Staff for the national organization Americans for Safe Access, the country’s leading medical cannabis organization. Hunter will discuss ASA's perspective on upcoming elections, and the purpose of the web site votemedicalmarijuana.org ASA, also, recently posted information from the California Narcotic Officers Association to help demonstrate and expose "more unsavory ways police attempt to discredit and imprison qualified medical cannabis patients."
