The Buffalo Medical Marijuana Act

My hometown!  Haven't heard of anything like this yet.  A cities Med MJ Act?

 

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Buffalo Common Council will look at making changes to marijuana laws. Lawmakers will meet Tuesday for a hearing on the Buffalo Marijuana Act.

The act has three main parts. The first is the Buffalo Medical Marijuana Act, the state legalized medical marijuana in July, but advocates say the law is too restrictive compared to other states. The second part would decriminalize possession of less than 35 grams. The third would create the right to grow industrial hemp.
