Medical Marijuana License Before Surgery

Recommended Posts

I have a surgery on my jaw very soon, and I am wondering if I can be recommended MM by a Doctor before the surgery. I will be in a lot of pain afterwards, and I do not want to take prescription painkillers.  I believe MM is my best option.  It is still possible for a Doctor to recommend it to me before the surgery so I have it available directly after?  Additionally, I would like to know if they grant licenses for short periods of time or is it usually a long time?  Any information helps.

good question, but no, i dont think most doctors will write up a recommendation if you dont have a condition yet.

but there maybe some drs who have clinics in or nearby to dispensaries who would do such things, or maybe they will find a condition that you have...

as for the other question, the registration card is good for 2 years, but your dr can call the state and let them know you no longer suffer , and the card can be cancelled then. so it can be a temporary card.
