IRON RIVER -- Police have found a large amount of marijuana after searching a home in Iron River Friday.

The Iron River Police Department received a tip about marijuana plants inside a home on Altone Street in Forbes Location. Officers obtained a search warrant and say they found a large number of marijuana plants and numerous items packaged and ready for distribution.

Police say three firearms were also removed from the home. No one was home at the time, but police say they know who lives there. No arrests have been made yet. The case is still under investigation.

I know in this county, sheriff has came to a lot of caregivers houses to check on there grow around here, I know if you don't let them see it they will return with a warrent. They do it around here a lot. We just haven't figured out how they got the list of caregivers.

One person I know had the helicopter above, had the military vehicle from the local sheriff with the drug task force in full gear, State cops showed up too. He has 5 patients with cards and had 60 plants for his patients. They thought they had him but left with nothing. He was in compliance. But they told him they where going back to inform the prosecuting attorney what they seen and they would get back to him. He hasn't seen them since and it's been 7 months since the Big Bang.

These are the cases that need civil action. The community is forced to be on the defensive while the Prosecutors and Law Enforcement work to violate voter intent and basic civil liberties.

The local Sheriff was in direct violation of Michigan law and needs to be called on it - citizens are not subjects.

Thanks for sharing the story and I am sorry for your friend who is probably suffering from some forms of PTSD after his encounter. He shouldn't have to live in fear.

It's not loose lips

They some how have a list of cg.

Cg around here don't run there mouths.

Our sheriff department has undercover officers driving around looking for cg. Like barns/green houses with fences around them, neighbors of cg calling the sheriff with suspension of growing, there always flying around here looking for growers, hex I see them almost every week. Hex 2 mouths ago we had them stacking out our road, a van with tinted widow at one end of the road and a truck at the other end. My brother stop one day and ask the guy if he could help him he pulled out a bag and told him to leave him alone my brother told him he was on private property and to move on. So he did just went down a half mile by the river.

There is no list that Leo has it's against the Law for them to even have a list unless someone grows i wouldn't worry about it next time you see him take some pictures and post them i would love to see the look on his/her face

Hey Bob,

Would that be the First or Last time that LEO did something illegal?

I don't have a hard time believing they have a list.

Ever hear of Hacking?

Or Parallel investigations?

I am reticent to say this , but.

You sound ridiculous stating that LEO having the list would be illegal.

What did LEO suddenly become the beacon of truth justice and legality?

I Know Not!

Would it be illegal?

Yes

Does that matter?

No

Legal issues never deter them, he'll they have everyone's taxes to cover their legal expenses.

That is if they even get caught and Then Have Charges brought against them..

Not trying to be mean Bob, but that was ridiculously funny.

And Not in a Good way..

Hell you live in Oakland county.

Your good sheriff has everyone's Cell phone info in his computer banks thanks to his Spying equipment.

How's that legal?
