Tomorrow this case gets heard at the Supreme Court.

Issue: Whether an officer may extend an already completed traffic stop for a canine sniff without reasonable suspicion or other lawful justification.

Below is the brief filed by the Petitioner.

Brief of petitioner Dennys Rodriguez

Interesting read. He handled it in the manner in which we are all instructed. Except for the transport of methamphetamine.

Notice the cop's 'instincts' are all based on citizens not asserting their rights and thus those who do are guilty?

They should just put up full vehicle xray scans underneath every overpass & jail 60%+ of the population. And finally get around to codifying that innocence must be proved by the accused. Think of how well the corrections corp of america portfolio will do... i'm rich bich! :o
