Hosted by attorney Michael Komorn from Komorn Law and Chad from Birmingham Compassion

Contributions from Rick Thompson from The Compassion Chronicles, Jamie Lowell from The 3rd Coast Compassion Center, and attorney Jeff Frazier of Komorn Law.

Tonight-

How can the cannabis reform movement, comprised of a diverse mix of individuals and organizations with varying ideas and motives, agree on a core set of objectives and work together in order to significantly move the effort forward? How would a push for full legalization affect the existing medical program and those who rely on using cannabis for health reasons?

Also, law enforcement officers, who are also medical marijuana patients, testify on their own behalf in Grand Rapids in a twisted case concerning the use of butter infused with medical marijuana.

Joining us- Attorney Keith Stroup, original founder of NORML, and former Executive Director- Keith currently serves as NORML's Legal Counsel and sits on NORML's Board of Directors. He recently authored a timely, practical and thought provoking article "Demanding ‘Perfect Legalization’ a Formula for Defeat"

Regular guest and friend of the show Attorney David Rudoi of Rudoi Law, will join us tonight in studio to weigh in on the discussions, as well.

Michael's rant, news, current events and more!

Removing it from the CSA of 1970 is the only option that restores Freedom and Opportunity. Anything short of that is just a furtherance of racist policy designed for social engineering and not "health and welfare of the citizens" because the War on Drugs is destroying the citizens and marginalizing the disenfranchised further.

I'm glad you beat this drum consistently. You've helped me see the light. Thank you.

interesting tidbit i see on court website

http://courts.mi.gov/Courts/MichiganSupremeCourt/justices/Pages/Justice-Mary-Beth-Kelly.aspx

Since joining the Supreme Court, Justice Kelly has authored several opinions of major public significance. She authored the Court’s seminal interpretation of the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act in unanimous opinion of People v Kolanek, which provided much-needed guidance regarding the medical use of marijuana in Michigan.

ALL THE RAINBOWS

Rainbow Farm was a pro-marijuana campground in Newberg Township, Cass County, Michigan, that was involved in a fatal police standoff on September 3, 2001. The campground was run by Tom Crosslinand his life partner Rolland "Rollie" Rohm, and was home to two annual festivals, "HempAid" and "Roach Roast", which ran from 1996 through 2001. The operation ended with the burning down of all the structures on the property and the deaths of both Tom Crosslin and Rolland Rohm.

Keep planting them Rainbows

I'm watching the corrections officers in Kent County who are in Court for using budder. If the Judge rules they cannot sec. 8, it should be appealed. If the Judge allows the motion and they win dismissal, I think it likely the prosecution will. It would be perfect.
