Batwing or sunsoaker reflectors are the best if you can keep the room cool.

yup I want to go back to open reflectors. I think its better to spend on a good a.c.& co2 instead of big exspensive hoods.

I agree why vent outside you may be venting out to Leo to small it cheeping also

sealing up my rooms and exposing bulbs was a very good decision here. The atmosphere is easier to manage, and fully automated too. Using outdoor air was troublesome for me before I saw the advantages of sealing up.

 

 

I will admit I get irked when the ac is running, exhausting air into 20 degree weather on the other side of the wall. but then I just smile.
