Eek! Couldn't Find My Card!

I forgot I removed my Med MJ card from my wallet. I did that because I was afraid that in a routine traffic stop, if the card were in my wallet the card might fall out or be noticed by police, leading to drug testing and trouble.

 

So, keep your card where it's not visible so as to not draw attention to it: if not in your wallet, at least keep track where you put it!

 

I did find my card, eventually. I put it next to where my pot is.

 

Suppose you are home when cops smell pot, see it for some reason or otherwise ask you for your card; you need to be able to produce the card rather than hunt around for it.

 

Courts have ruled that if you don't have a valid card near you and accessible to you, then you are not "in possession" of a card, and are busted. The guy who was busted had his card at another location, so couldn't prove he had one and was not at that time "in possession" of the card. I'm sure someone here knows the court case name.

Kinda silly that if you have a card at home when pulled over you are not in possession of your card but you are still in possession of the plants at home???? Terrible double standard.

 

I bought a case of 1,000 small envelopes - exactly the right size to slide your card into. I've been giving them away to other patients and caregivers for years.

I really do recommend not taking your card with you unless you have marijuana, however.

 

 

Yeah, while you possess Med Marijuana you need to also possess the card.

 

For example, if you never leave home with Med MJ, then leave your card at home.

get a second card from lara for 10 and then either cover it w duct tape or pt it in your shoe or rubber band it or glue it to something. put it in glove box, etc.

what, you dont need the card for protection from arrest for internal possession? while driving, THC inthe blood for months.  for paraprenalia?
