Seeking Caregiver In Oakland (Or Wayne) County

I have been a medical marijuana patient for the last 3 years and have had a single caregiver the entire time.  With my current renewal, I have decided to part ways with this caregiver as, while they have been great, we are not completely compatible from a needs perspective.

Probably the main challenge that I have as a patient is that I do not consume very much product.  Even with daily use, my tolerance is quite low, and I do not consume a tremendous amount of cannabis.  In addition, there are a variety of ways I prefer to consume cannabis.

I can go into much more detail via PM if someone is interested in taking on a new patient that does not demand a high volume.

Hopefully we will be speaking soon!

high volume use is the least of my patient issues. Being limited to helping only five though, to help me pay the bills for the service, requires a monthly fee, regardless of quantity needed. This is great for those who can promise a consistent demand, as quantity means little to me, and gifts can pour forth for the patients needing the most.  This presents a challenge for patients like yourself to find suitable caregivers. I feel bad for this situation and hope you understand both views.  Like a farm garden share I try hard to be fair, but the patient who spends the most ultimately gets the most.

I hope you find exactly what you need soon.

Just wanted to post an update.  First, I want to thank everyone, as I had a number of folks reach out to me - all of them super helpful, kind and flexible.  It was great to really feel the support of the community.  After a few discussions, I found someone who I think is well aligned with my needs as a patient, and am moving forward with the paperwork.  Thanks again to everyone who reached out.

Oh, and I'm an idiot for posting in the wrong forum - sorry about that.  And thanks for not trashing me for doing so!

You posted under Caregivers Issues forum, where most posts like yours are found. Sometimes folks ask for caregiver's help under "Patient Issues", but it's all good.

I'm glad you asked and received!
