Judiciary Meeting 4209, 4210

Recommended Posts

next Thursday I hope to testify as the CPU spokesman.  We fully intend to deal with the Lt's uninformed power point.  So much of it was wrongheaded, one can only shake your head.

Yeah Blackhorse, I about spit out my coffee while sitting there and hearing his scorecard numbers... 4 pounds a plant?  In Michigan? lol, pretty humorous...

Yield depends on veg time and the size of the plant when you go to flower... and of course a whole lot of other things...

T-Pain:  The Heise moment was rich.  He voted with the bills last time around, but may withhold approval this time (unless given instructions from the caucus)... what a nice man (sic)

Thanks for posting, an hour and a half well spent. 1 - 4 pound per plant? We are doing something wrong then. Anyone know what the indoor average yield is? In past, 4 oz. was tops for me.

Plant count doesn't matter, light's do.  A plant would have to be overvegged, scrogged, and flowered, under a 1000 watt light for 2 months to even come close to 1-2 pounds.  With a perpetual garden, running full plant counts, 4 oz per plant is pushing it, an 1-2 oz sounds about right. You never get stuck with an overabundance, because your always limiting your plant sizes to fit the patients intake.  That's just my take on it, others may disagree.

Disclaimer. I'm a relative newbie when it comes to growing. Just completed my third grow. Two plants, just shy of 6.5 oz. Now, I'm way over my limit. I'm not a CG. I try to stay low key with my grow, so I'm not "sharing" a lot with friends. What to do?

Right now I'm feeling stymied. I only use about a gram/day. Short of pitching or recycling some darn good bud, or making a large quantity of extracts (oh, oh another no, no) I can't in good conscience start another grow. To me, the journey (growing) is half the fun. Now I'm on hold. I keep hoping we'll be able to sell overages at some point, but until then, what to do?

I'm guessing I'm not alone with this problem. I also suspect there's more than few out there snickering at my situation, but I'm also guessing it's an issue for many other growers. I don't expect a sliver bullet answer to my "problem", but what do others do in this situation? I suppose one could purposefully grow smaller plants to produce less.

Having lived through the droughts of the early 70's it kills me to think I will might need to just dump it. Any suggestions?

Please excuse the rant on this beautiful spring morning!

A lot of us have this issue. Maybe become a caregiver for a couple patients would help. This way you can have 2.5 oz for each patient, which would help out.

Last fall, we had an outdoor grow and ended up taking the tops and destroying the remainder. Some people will say this is crazy, but I was trying to stay within the limits.

Smaller plants, less plants is a thought. My plant count is way less than what I am allowed.

It would be nice to sell overages to a dispensary or other patients, rather than destroying.

I burn my overages a little bit at a time and casually inhale. Though, there are also mass concentrate runs as an option for some, could be a lot of hash or goo!...speaking of goo, how'd that stuff with the Kleen extract turn out mike?

You are serious are'nt you?

Are you just running 2 plants together from seed or clone?

Do you have a veg room and a flower room?

With 2 tents one for veg and one for flower I run 9 plants, when Im pulling one out of the flower room Im putting another in it from veg, in a perfect propetual for a pt grower, you have one plant drying, one plant curing, you try to keep your yeild at around 3 oz's dried,

with 3 dif strains going all the time, I leave myself 3 extra slots for clones, I take clones 2 wks before I move into flower. I keep my clones in a little home made clone dome as long as I need to,

In a perfect world you will be yanking a plant every 3 to 5 weeks and that would keep you within your numbers and weight!

Beourbud, thanks for the link!  good time spent for the entertainment.......1 - 2 lb's a plant, I would only need 1 plant a yr!  oh man I shouldnt say that!

Peace

Well medmanmike, there is a little cipherin' required. You will find ways to manage your numbers. Keep in mind that you can put some or all of your bud into kief, leaving you in the clear. Some insist on chemical extraction. Whatever works for you is just fine.

Inside, I had two flower tents staggered a month apart for finishing up. Ran 3 plants per tent. Started new clones when plants went into flower tent, so I have some ready for next time. Was able to stay within my limit.

Decided to grow outdoors and numbers got out of whack. Took tops off plants and destroyed lower material.

Each grower has their own ideas and mine was to stay within limit. Very hard to do with outside grow.
