Caregiver Never Has My Meds

When I first signed with my caregiver he would come to my place and always have my meds when I needed them. But a few months down the road he wants me to start meeting him more than halfway to get them. Then more recently when I need some from him he hasn't had any, how does he not have any if he's growing 12 plants for me? I know he has other patients but shouldn't I be able to get my meds too and not get the short end of the stick cause I was late to the draw? Wondering if anyone could give me some answers and maybe something I could say to confront him about what he's doing?

I'd just talk to him and lay it out like that. It's not likely that he is growing 12 plants for you at all times unless you are pounding ounces. One plant on a normal veg/flower schedule is giving most people 2-3 ounces of good flower. If you use an ounce a month, said caregiver needs to harvest a plant every 2-4 months. Keeping 12 would result in some super-vegging. If your use has changed, mention that and go from there. if you cant come to a resolution than go your own way.

I had a miscommunication with a patient a while back. She kept asking by  one strain name. I only ran it once or twice a year. Took me three months to realize this and I felt terrible. Hopefully you guys are dealing with something equally silly. Good luck and remember that caregivers are humans too!

The only thing is I went from getting QPs from him to only getting an oz every other week, even that tapered off the last couple months. Last week he tried having me drive to meet him a good ways. We live about two hours away to begin with and when we started he said it would never be a problem, I told him it would be on the weekends cause we both worked different schedules but had the weekends to which he agreed. Haven't had to many problems other than the last couple months. I know he has half his pants in veg and usually half agonist ready to harvest from what he tells me. The caregiver is a family member as well.

I do realize how much work goes into, if he doesn't have the time though, he should have never taken me on as a patient if he was already to busy. It's family, and I'm his only family patient you think he'd make sure family was taken care of if anything

To be fair though life comes at you real quickly in this world things can change overnight in anyones life my advice would be to just find a new caregiver one that has the time and resources to fulfill your needs.

I am a pt with a c.g, when I re apply for my lady I will be her c.g but I wont be able to grow for a while, we are getting ready to sell our house and move over toward houghton lake, closer to my parents, not far, but I have had the same c.g for at least 5 yrs, he has always taken good care of me, and I realy have nothing to complain about other than I beleive our pt c.g relationship has run its course,

we have totaly different personalitys and he is going thru maratal problems, which has made our relationship not so good, things just change, and I most def will not complain about him because I realize things change, I have had one of the best c.g's for along time, but like I said things change, and Im not willing to change in the way he wants me to, that realy is all I can say about it, he still has my grow numbers, notice how I say numbers and not plants, they are not my plants, he grew them they are his plants and when we part ways he will have notice so he can either fill my slot or get him self back to legal numbers, we have talked about this before, and he has asked my if I want my numbers when I was my lady's c.g, I told him no you can keep my numbers as long as I dont need them and when I do I will give you notice, now Im sure he would not only give me my numbers back but he would give me clones, veg, or what ever I want, at this time I just let him keep my numbers, we havent spoke in a few months, he dont call me I dont call him, no biggie, a pt can get their meds any where, so I just let him keep mine untill I find some one that is a better match for me or untill I move and build a new grow room!

I hope this isnt going to be a thread about bad mouthing c.g's, beign a c.g my self and haing lots of friends who are c.g's I have heard so many things about bad pt's and than after hearing it, I see people write on here about their horror story's with their c.g's,,,,,I wouldnt want to see a thread about bad pt's lmao!

Peace and remember you and  only you can let a c.g have your plant counts! but remember when they have issues in their garden you to will have to suffer from them, c.g's dont want issues, but they happen any how, trust me, I know!

If your cg is tow hours away and you expect him to drive it both ways! If a person lets say gets 25 mpg and assuming an average speed of lets say 55 mph to average things out you are first of all expecting the person to go through about 4 gallons of gas at lets say 3.oo dollars a gallon. This does not even go into what that persons's time is worth. You need a cg that is closer. You were also getting a very cheap price. considering.the work. What are you bringing to the table?

@phaquetoo I generally could get meds from the dispensaries in my town until they closed them all down. I'd get meds from local stores cause it was cheaper than having him make the trip up to me. I'm definitely not trying to slam any caregivers just had some questions that I figured someone could shed some light on or even show me a different perspective of what was going on.

@mrd When we started and signed papers he agreed to bring it up to me. He also delivers to his other patients all over Michigan.

@highlander I went threw that much in two weeks wasn't selling anything my caregiver said he doesn't care what I do with it if I was selling but I'm not risking my card to sell to someone who doesn't have theirs.

2 ounces a week is what you need to treat your condition? That is unusual.

Please don't think I was assuming you were selling. But I know a guy who was raided after his patient was found at a traffic stop with more than 2.5 oz., so A QP sale to a patient is scary, especially with such a long drive. That's an extended opportunity to get stopped for a simple traffic violation and then end up in not water. Or it might be that your caregiver can't or doesn't want to try to produce that much. Or did you possibly run into payment issues and he didn't want to get behind financially? A QP every two weeks at $150 per oz. would mean you were paying $1,200 per month for your meds. I can see where most patients would have a hard time keeping up with that.

@restorium2 no I didn't need that much for sure which is why I stopped getting that much. Now an oz last me a week, I smoke a lot it isn't up to you to decide how much works for me though

Not up to me BUT I'm starting to understand the problem. You were getting a half pound a month for $1200. I would suspect my patient doing that was using me to make money off of my generosity.

price out west for a elbow is 1600.

Price in Michigan for medical is around $200 an ounce for the well connected. At $150 someone loves you enough to donate to your cause. At 8 a month it's going to get old real quick, IMO as a grower. I think the situation outlined in this thread is evidence of this. Definitely could be wrong but that's how it is around here.

Some MEDICAL plants only put out an ounce or two. We don't have warehouse grows ... at least I don't. Some strains put out a lot of that $150 an ounce fluff. I don't use those watered down strains that produce a lot. There are so many factors to consider, one being how happy your grower is. Nuff said.
