you can fill out a michigan medical marihuana new conditions petition and send it in for it to be heard again.

forms are at http://michigan.gov/mmp

i have serious doubts that the prohibitionists in charge either at LARA or even some of the people on the panel would approve it. but no harm in trying, its free.

there is a group in michigan trying to legalize marijuana, you might want to help them out as well. sign their ballot proposal petition signature form to put legalization on the ballot!

Will insomnia ever be reevaluated and voted on again? Its the only thing my medical records show I have that qualifies and I really want to become legal.

What is the cause of your insomnia?  Mine is due to pain - an acceptable condition.  My doc put down pain and insomnia on my certification app and there wasn't any problem with LARA.

Your physician or the clinic doc?

Personal physician. Personally, I'd be really selective of going to a "clinic". If your primary caregiver won't cooperate, then I would suggest going to a Denali Healthcare clinic. (They're all over the state - http://www.denalihealthcaremi.com) I do not know Dr Bob personally and have no connection whatsoever with the clinic, but I've read a lot of what he's written and he sounds legit. FWIW I wouldn't hesitate going there.

UPDATE: I am going to my doctor today to discuss severe morning nausea. When I used to smoke in the morning when I woke up I found my stomach to be much more at ease and I was able to stomach food. My question is if I should just go to my doc a few times to get it on my record and how much would I need for the record to show? Do I have to diagnosed with it or is my complaints about the nausea enough to be on the record for a certification? Also my doc knows I used to self medicate and she seems to disagree with it. But should I bring up that it helps me get rid of my morning nausea and that I would like a recommendation from her, or should I just get a paper trail going and go to a clinic?

paper trails, on record et??.......there are no tricks to this.

tell a certification clinic what your issues are, your experience with cannabis, and skip the internet for the medical advice. google certification clinics in your area and call one. avoid telling your primary doc anything about cannabis lest you be judged. clinics may have different protocol, best to ask them instead of the internets. that's what I know.

goodluck
