Saw a negative TV ad this morning about BS and global warning.

Ate lunch with the Riverside farm boy who made an interesting comparison between Josef Stalin and Adolf Hitler. Stalin being the far left dictator so the USSR communist leader and Hitler the far right dictator of the German Nazi national socialists.

 

His observation was when liberal governments move too far left and/or conservative government's move too far right, they meet.

They are both authoritarian.  People should consider more than just an economic scale but also a liberty scale.  The political compass site is a good place to figure out where you really stand in relation to others. They're based in the U.K., but the concept works world-wide.
