Maybe there just isn't that many cannabis aficionados in Minnesota? Maybe because their program only started in July 2015?

 

Maybe it's because they only have 2 'Cannabis Patient Centers' of 8 open. Maybe there's only one in the Twin Cities area (where 70% of the peeps reside) and it's only open 7 hrs a day, 5 days a week?  Or maybe their selections?  But one of the biggest reasons surely  is cost whatever it is there. Because of the fact that they are forced to buy Stamps at the rate of 3.50/gram.  $98/oz! plus sales tax, another 7 or 8% ... Inquiring minds want to to know! ... 

 

   Why 1 in 7 medical pot patients aren't repeat customers

 

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - State officials are trying to learn why nearly one-seventh of its medical marijuana patients have stopped buying the medicine.

The state's Office of Medical Cannabis told the Associated Press Monday it sent a letter to 92 patients who haven't purchased medical marijuana in 60 days seeking more information. That's nearly one-seventh of the 662 patients registered as of last week. 

Price has been a major hurdle for patients in the new medical marijuana program. Monthly costs that can quickly approach hundreds to thousands of dollars have prompted some patients to revert to buying marijuana on the black market.

Medical marijuana went on sale in July. The state's two manufacturers have each implemented a series of discounts to help with costs.

What bothers me is the insane tracking here and the fact the Overseers are actually pressurizing sales onto patients due to the tracking information.

 

That tracking system they push( coming to Michigan soon) is just ripe for LEO abuse in Michigan.

This is what is happening with the current dispensary bills on deck in the Michigan Legislature. You can be sure that if the greedy gentlemen pushing this don't make their money, they will use this "market data" to try to figure out what is going on.
