Where else? These are both at the same court. If you want to start another thread about another area that would be better. Less confusing. Less vague fear. Just remember we do have great jury trials up here. Sorry about your negative experience elsewhere. Never thought we would be setting an example here with our terrible prosecutor but we are. Our people are the key. We make great juries. And our people stand up and fight.

It's just had to imagine.  I used to go to the fireworks display that the City of Flint put on at Bluebell Beach on Mott Lake.  30,000 people is about 1/3 the population of the City of Flint. 

 

Imagine if someone/some people could get those 30,000 people to sign a petition for a ballot initiative for MJ decrim?

go to the detroit fire works, there is more than 30 k there every yr!

I got caught with a vape in my mouth, in my room by 4 cops, 2 county and 2 res police,   Theres more to the story but they let me totaly slide lol!

I had a patient a few years ago who attended a three-day work conference at the Soaring Eagle.  At one point in the first evening, she went to her car to smoke a little to get some relief.  The casino security guards saw her on camera in the parking lot and called the tribal police.  The tribal police apprehended her.  She showed her MMJ card.  The tribal police explained that her MMJ card was no good on tribal lands, but they gave her some mercy.  They let her go with a warning and banned her from the place for 30 days, so she had to find other accommodations for that night and the balance of the conference.  She told me that she was treated very respectfully by the tribal police; they didn't call for feds and didn't want to escalate the issue. 

 

Edited to say:  I think the Native Americans know all about the pain of the federal government.  They didn't want to see a 60-something y/o woman have her life turned upside down for simply using MMJ and not hurting anyone.
