Cool, My 5 Year Old Seeds Have Sprouted!

Had some five year old blueberry kush seeds. 5 out of 6 sprouted. Yay!

 a few yrs ago I was going thru my alblums lol yea vynil alblums, (yea yea my spelling sucks)  I found some columbian seeds and smoke in my led zepplin 2 album, that was my rolling tray back in the day, now im talking these seeds had to be 20 yrs old, I got at least 12 of them to pop out side w/o germinizing them!

 

Unfortunatly I couldnt let them go all the way, I have a 22 yr old step son that is a thief, blah blah blah!

 

I still have some left, maybe I will try again inside, I beleive im gonna be moving soon lol, my lady dont love me any longer   bawahahahaha!  Im sure glad we didnt get married, all I have to do is move out, no child support, we have no children together, although I love my step kids with all of my heart, and the dog,,,,,,but I dont like the debt I have gotten into to save this house, and have phones, and all of the other luxury's we needed to live a decent life!

 

we have been together 7 yrs this month!  I came into this relation ship debt free, im leaving in debt, I sold my snow mobile, and got our house out of forecloser, I sold my boat and got a fridge and stove, I sold my 90 gmc suburban (camper hauler) and bought carpet thru out the house lol! and this fall I went 2 k in debt and spent 4k I got from my pops to keep us above the water! 6k this fall and im still not out of debt or caught up!

 

So she is giving me the boot!  I find it funny, I do love her, but shoot I have been married and divorced 3 times, im not proud of it, and I would actualy stay and go into debt farther to get us to our sweet spot in life, kids out of the nest, do some traveling in the winter blah blah blah!

 

Im gonna be able to do all of that and more w/o some one else's debt's to pay off, she told me to not spend my next month's check on any of her bills, I guess the means she wants me out the 1st of dec.

 

Im doing what I can to get my stuff packed and moved to my storage units I kept all of the time we have been together, I was hoping I wouldnt need them but I do, so all I have to do is go straighten things out and move my stuff in there and wait for a income based apt in houghton lake by my folks who are realy starting to need my help now any how!

 

but yea, old seeds pop if your lucky like us!

Hey Zach, how the babies doin?

 

Three are alive and well after one week with two sets of leaves. VERY leggy with the T12's only a couple inches away (upgrading to T5s this week.). But they're sturdy and handling a steady direct fan breeze. Still debating a DIY route vs a tent for the flowering section. I have time.

 

I JUST started four seeds of Big Bud, also from 4-5 years back. Let's see how those old guys (hopefully old gals) do!

I have some a friend gave me like 5 yrs ago,  I most def need to put some in dirt and see how they do,  I have not heard of any one growing the strain that these guys made,  I do know the person that gave them to me has been growing them since, I guess I could get some clones if the beans dont pop!

 

I would realy love to run these babies, They were realy bad arse and my friend who gave them to me ran a few plants a few times under t-5's!  He ran them and picked all the buds and put them back into veg and picked the budz again!  The stuff was very potent and the tric's were amazing, I never seen any mj like this stuff!

 

It would be realy kick butt to have a strain not to many people have and share the wealth!

Sorry to hear about your issues Phaque, it's tough sometimes, I spent tens of thousands of dollars trying to live a different life with a girlfriend about 6-7 years ago, at the end the money was gone, then she was gone. It's very weird how people can change, especially people we "know & love".

Im good!  I wish I wouldnt have brought it up lol, I havent talked to any one about this yet, I learned from the past to not bring others into my  problems, if things change people never think the same about her/me!

Not bad. Had a slow start but they seem to be taking off nicely. Currently have the three that made it under T5s, along with three others from old seeds (1x Hash Plant, 2x Power Kush). Realized I may have mislabeled the Blueberry Kush and they may actually be Burmese Kush.

Your five year old seeds are mostly beating all of my brand new ones, I've just had a lot of issues, happy frog, PH, but hopefully now they'll take off.

Keep in mind with seeds the second and third run off of clones you take are always better then the first batch of plants off the seeds. Grow them a few cycles and you will see them improve in strength.

This is being grown in our own compost soil, although I had to sterilize it first when I discovered some unknown little centipede like critters. May have been ok but I didn't feel like spending the time on researching what they were. Sorry I had to kill you guys...

 

Fertilized sparingly with 10% urine mixture, lately with a little vinegar for pH down (still waiting for the meter so that I can be more precise. Will be moving to sulfuric acid for pH down. Note: Pee can be acidic or basic...)

 

Plain water misting a few times a day, small computer fan going mostly non-stop. Will be building my venting system over the next week. Decided to shell about $100 for LEDs. It's a small grow and I really want to maximize while keeping energy consumption and heat low.

The three BKs (probably burmese kush not blueberry kush) are now under leds! I have to keep sunglasses nearby because it is bright to the point of unpleasantness.

 

 

 

 

The lights make these look incredibly deep green, don't know if it will show that here: 

 

 

 

They are now one month old.
