Desperately Searching For High-Cbd Rick Simpson Oil

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I'm in a medical emergency and am desperately seeking high-CBD Rick Simpson Oil.  The Star Tonic oil has been extremely effective, but is often out of stock at local dispensaries and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else.  Can anyone put me in contact with somebody who has this oil or something with a similar CBD/THC ratio?  Thank you so much in advance, I am truly desperate.

Welcome to the boards!

How do you know what ratio cbd/thc content is from a despense?

What is the ratio that you require, that may help you get more answers on your post!

I truly wish I could help You!

Best wishes!

Peace

Hello!  thanks so much for the responses.  I'm in southeast Michigan, but would be willing to drive to get the oil if it was available.  The ratio is about 13:7 or 2:1 CBD:THC.  The number of milligrams of each compound is written on the label for the Rick Simpson oils that have worked.  Thank you so much to everyone!

(snip)

Well some dispensaries (like my main go-to place) have everything tested at Iron Labs. Few CGs do this because of the expense.

With that said, I have never heard of high CBD RSO in Michigan. OP might do better making it himself as high CBD cannabis is now widely available (Star Tonic, Cannatonic, etc) at reasonable prices.

This is very controversial but I have to suggest:  You can gently heat an oil and actually change the ratios in it to match what you need. I noticed this when cooking medibles. You can alter the effects with heat. You can actually make an oil or medible that has 'less of a buzz' to it by experimenting with heat.

Theoretically one could do this due to the difference in THCA & CBDA boiling points. But it would be near impossible for the average person to do effectively since those BPs are so close. Could vape at low temp to increase the CBD/THC ratio, but it would also be pretty hit & miss.

There really needs to be an easily obtainable, reasonably priced concentrate with a precisely known amount of CBD. There is especially a critical need for preparations with zero THC. Stuff like Charlotte's Web are way too expensive.

There are lots of high CBD low THC cannabis oils to be found.  You just have to look in the right places!

Give it a try. You might find it's easier than you think. I do it a lot with great results.

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish.  You are not going to turn THC into CBD thru heating.  If you want a less jittery effect you can overdecarb THC and it turns to CBN which is more sedative but doesn't really get to the underlying problem of anxiety, it just makes you more tired and not as much energy to care, for me CBD shows me that I can or can't do something about my problems and not to worry if I do what I can, if that makes sense.  While both "work"  one actually makes me "normal" instead of just sedated.

I decarb for 20 min at 280f for my day caps and 1 hour at 280 for my night caps.  All my cbd gets decarbed seperately since it takes longer at over an hour.  If I were to decarb a 50/50 I would only use it for night since the THC would be turned some to CBN from teh long decarb to get the CBD decarbed.

Some things are possible and some are not.  CBD works differently than THC and one can only be subbed for the other in certain situations.  Once you find the right mix like me, you realize that all teh other mixes, while helpful, don't do near as well as the tried and tru consistency.

mitten meds has some i think also true labs

I'm well acquainted with both of those (used to use True Labs but now it's Mitten Meds indica oil in my vape pen). I've never seen a high CBD low THC oil from either. And neither of them show any such creature on their respective web sites.

IMO these posts are coming precariously close to spam for dispensaries.

Are you going to bring some to them?  In my opinion, if they take off the dispense names, this site is coming pretty close to not helping patients.  It's legal for any patient to acquire meds from anywhere.  Telling them where they may be able to find something to help with their dis-ease is part of what helping patients is about.

I stated my opinion only.

Concentrates and dispensaries are still illegal in MI last I checked.

If you'd like to help the OP, send a private message maybe?

and EVERYONE know what they are doing even law enforcement so telling a patient a brand or a shop that offers it is wrong? if that's the case we shouldnt be advertising different events such as high times or daboween or any other events like due to all the p2p transfers that happen there all the people giving away edibles all the free pre rolls all the dabs they give out

Also... maybe I am the 'paranoid' type and am cautious with sharing such information on an open forum

... especially in response to a brand new member who's 1st. post is asking for something that has been

deemed illegal in MI and won't be covered by MMMP.

Perhaps this is just the type of info leo is looking for?

Then they should go to weedmaps cause it's listed right there in the open everyday with a rating system and current menu, cause that's where I got it.  If they were that stupid we wouldn't be having a problem.
