Barney's Farm Red Dragon

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I'm currently blooming out a trio of these red dragons, they were all started from feminized seed, hopefully some of you have or have had this strain in your grow, so you can answer my question: How many pheno's did you have? And how many seeds did you propagate through flowering compared to how many pheno's there where?? And any other info about this strain would also be much appreciated!!

I'm attaching a photo of the triplet girls, i was kinda thinking that the one all the way to the left was more Sativa Dominant and the middle and right were more indica dominant, idk though, it's not long into flower, as the process continues I'm sure I'll get more of an idea as to which they are. Thanks in advance for your input!post-39488-0-72075000-1452648951_thumb.jpeg

I've grown these from new seed stock about 12 times. Each plant appeared to be the same as the last. A fire storm of electric effects are packed into this tiny plant. Vegging longer will produce more. They all felt the same, ate the same , tasted the same, and grew the same for me.   yours look better than mine ever did!  good job!

I believe they're sensitive to heavy feeding. I dialed and dialed in hydro, pleased with the final effects but short on the happy growth imo. It wasn't until I cut its nutrients way too low to support my other plants in the same res...that I got happier growth. In dirt now its a no brainer, toss a few cups of organicare, add water to the res, repeat, and they are awesome even with identical feeding as all other plants in there.   not near as bushy happy as yours until 30 days into flower here

Radar, I'll measure it to be sure, but yeah I'm pretty sure the tray is about 4ft x 4ft, the tent it sits in is 4'9"x4'9" and there is extra room around it in the tent, I love the tray, I can water and just let the run off flow out of the pots and then it's easy to clean up with the wet/dry vac, it's really helpful during flushing as well. I've had the whole tray darn near filled to the brim. It's pretty easy to clean between runs too, being lightweight and easy to flip on its side. I got it from a grow shop near me that closed, and I don't really remember well, but I believe it came from the hydrofarm catalog.

Radar5756,

thanks!  That 9 pounder may be the star of the year here. Full bodied, thick milky smoke, smooth in and out. If you ever loved the flavor of the unique Ace of Spades the 9Lb will knock your socks off. It the tallest indoor plant I've ever head, regardless of topping. I top in flower a couple times to no avail. Planting the seeds directly into 12/12 makes a little difference in height but not enough to sacrifice the baseballs for golf balls.
