General Hydroponics Nutes And Delayed Flowering

Recommended Posts

Was wondering if anyone here uses the GH line of nutes? I'm on my second run, so still new to hydro. But it seems like it delays the flowering period by a week or two. I'm running gorilla glue #4, which is a 56 day cycle, but this is the second time i'm going to have to go over by a week at least.

Last time I stayed in mid bloom for the extra 2 weeks, but this time I'm going to stay in the late bloom for a little extra time cause doing it in mid bloom didn't really fatten up the Buds all that well.

I'm suspicious of the transition week they have, it's the first week of flower, they don't seem to change the nutes much from the veg stage and Normally I see the starting of flower around the 10th day in soil, but with this setup it seems to take at least 14 days to see the start of the flowers. Sometimes even a little longer.

Just wondering if this is Normal for hydro, or maybe these nutes?

I have used GH and didn't notice a difference between the results in flower times from them as compared to my soil grows.

I used their recommend feeding schedule and it worked good. Feeding depends on the strain though.

Buds can continue to ripen when you are flushing because they can use nutes they stored in their leaves.
