Republican Arizona Legislature Going After Medical Cannabis

Just so Patients here in Michigan know other states republican legislatures are constantly attacking their programs as well.

 

 

Az's law is similar to Michigans. Here is the Bill they proposed:

 

 

5 (e) The department may establish a sliding scale of patient

6 application and renewal fees based upon ON a qualifying patient's household

7 income. THE DEPARTMENT MAY NOT PROVIDE A REDUCED FEE FOR A PATIENT

8 APPLICATION OR RENEWAL IF THE PATIENT PARTICIPATES IN THE SUPPLEMENTAL

9 NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM ADMINISTERED BY THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF

10 AGRICULTURE, FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICE.

I mean,... that is just seriously  messed up because people on assistance need the discount.

 

That is just mean spirited. There are several more of these, but this one was an attack I hadn't seen before honestly.

the war on drugs is a war on all of us.

 

who pays for the 20,000 marijuana arrests each year? we do.

who pays for the judges to yell and scold adults on marijuana use? we do.

 

thats our money at work. paying idiots to yell at people smoking pot.
