Looking For Doctor In Northern Michigan.

Recommended Posts

For the record, we are getting many offers of help.  We should have this issue settled shortly.  We cannot allow the resource we have offered patients for years to simply become unavailable.  We are working on a solution to that.  Stay tuned.

Within every defeat is the seeds of future victory- stay tuned.

Thanks for the recommendation, Dr. Bob. Have you identified anybody farther north, or in the northeast or northwest area?

In your experience, with physicians less mobile than yourself, how many physicians/offices are needed to cover everybody?

There is a need for 7-12 offices to cover the N. Mich/UP area.  We have heat maps of patients and are learning quite a bit about the demand.  We were about to open another office already, but right now we are looking at a variety of options.  We will make some decisions in the near future and I am pleased to say we are maintaining our offices right now anticipating a solution.

We will have an announcement within 2 weeks.  N. Michigan and the UP will be served.

I hope you don't mind if I chime in and ask the same thing ...Looking for a doctor in lower Michigan near the Ohio -Michigan boarder.

I originally visited (1 year ago) a doctor who was glad to take the money and fill out my form giving me my MMMJ card.

He never even asked me to come back for a follow up. I am a legitimate patient as I am a cancer survivor with documented history.

Meanwhile, I have since educated myself and realized that I need to have that doctor/patient relationship.

I am looking for that doctor or clinic here. I am closest to Monroe Michigan or if need be I can drive to Ann Arbor or somewhere not to far away.

I have had cancer and I am also my own caregiver, so I can grow my own 12 plants (or even be a caregiver to another).

I am glad to have found this forum to help facilitate my learning and enable me to feel confident about WHY I would choose

certain avenues over others. I want to be certain I am making educated decisions leading me down the correct path.

Thank you.

Today, there are not a lot of good doctors, and there are 2 reasons for this. First, poor education. For example, I studied at https://www.trinityschoolofmedicine.org/resources/ultimate-guide-caribbean-medical-schools, and I know how the teaching here is different from standard schools, where half of them do not teach what is here. Secondly, the doctor must constantly improve his personal qualities. The key requirement for a medical worker is the development of a humane attitude towards the patient and a high level of responsibility for their actions. Thus, it is obvious that a doctor, as a subject of medical activity, must be comprehensively developed, humane and motivated to help all those in need.
