As you can see purple is not always purple.

Chauncy, Why purple?

It's usuallly not as good as its green sisters from the same gene pool.

It sure is pretty though.

Lots of purples out there right now.

I think you can search Herbies and Attitude with purple search keywords.

Good luck.

If it was up to me I wouldn't care if it was purple or green. One of my patients wants a purple strain because they "think the color is cool".  Hooh boy...

Anyway, I am looking at Querkle (highly recommended by Grow Goddess) and Brian Berry Cough . They are both strains done by TGA and everybody says you can't go wrong with TGA strains. It looks like it is hard to find a real purple strain that also carries a good punch and is pleasing to the olfactory senses. I will have to tell my patient that I am only going to be able to come close to their wishes on the purple part, but that the quality will be right up there. Good enough...

Thanks for the links. You are right. Some of the "purple " strains aren't lookin too purple. It looks like some of the pictures were altered or shot in colored light in order to make the strain look purple!

I once had a guy show me some Blue Widow that was actually "blue". He had apparently dipped the buds in blue food coloring and even the stems were blue. I didn't have the heart to call him out on it.

My BrianBerry did not turn purple. FYI

nor mine

For the sake of colors I've never enjoyed any that turned purple in warm conditions. That monster GDP was all over the coveted photogenic qualities of perfection but scored way low in desired(relative of course) effects for those in my groups including my self. I'm sure some gain medical effects.

Others were the same to us. But my Plushberry is always deep pink and freaked out with a strange purple in the cold. Querkle is a fine forever in my garden, it likes cool air at the end, I dry her up after she's fed straight water for a week/top and bottom and drop the temps for a night, buds harden up nice and the terpenes shoot off the charts=time to cut!
